"One of the best places I've stayed. Super quiet and friendly atmosphere, excellent hygiene. Spectacular location for those of us who like to be a little further away from the hustle and bustle (25 minutes walk from downtown Puerto Viejo), and steps from the beach (literally located in the middle of the vegetation and the sea). Facilities are not luxurious but super comfortable and functional. Bedrooms with space to leave personal items, reading lights, and individual power outlets. Spacious and always clean bathrooms. Large, well-equipped kitchen so you can cook at any time. Integrated restaurant for those who want it. Unbeatable price/quality ratio. "Such a nice place. Very friendly people. A lot of wild life. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We had an early check in, the guy showed us a lot of animals, was sooooo damn nice. A good shared kitchen and bikes to rent, we would definitely go back! 10/10!! "

"Details, details, details! That is what makes a bungalow stay at Caribe Town in Playa Cocles stand out among other small inn vacation spots. Yes, there’s the delightful pool, cozy bar, nutritious and artful breakfasts, proximity to beach and restaurants. But the quality is in the detail. The owner took time to communicate well ahead of our trip and every transfer, tour, and restaurant she suggested seemed customized for us. Each staff member has special creative skills and an abundance of diverse experiences, intuiting just what activity or delicious beverage or scenic tip would make each day special for us. And they were right! The bungalows are nestled in lush greenery on paths that wind through an amazing garden that can only be described as cultivated wildness. Every pause was rewarded with bursts of colorful flowers, huge leaves, cascading vines and hundreds of different plant species sharing space and sound with frogs and bright birds and silly monkeys and ants busily shouldering burdens three times their size. There’s magic here!"

"We’ve spent 4 nights during Semana Santa. The place was super clean and as advertised on the pictures. Julie and her husband are very welcoming. They gave us tons of tips on what to do and were super responsive whenever we had questions. The whatsapp group was super convenient. The breakfast was incredible. Plenty of coffee and options to chose from: scrambled eggs, toast, fruits, pancakes or tacos rancheros. Can’t even decide what I liked best. Each day I chose something different. Would 100% recommend."
