"Quite disappointed with the stay. We paid extra for the Kind Aqua Deluxe room because of the room photo showing the window with arcs, but we were assigned the normal window view. By cancelling the housekeeping, you were only given 1 cocktail per room, instead of other hotel chains where 2 drinks were given. The hotel has already save housekeeping cost, but only one drink were given as they hope the 2nd guest will spend on the drink. It will be more hospitable if 2 drinks were given or based on number of guest."

"Apartment is very new and its a short walk to the Cologne cathedral and christmas markets. It is easy to find eateries in the vicinity and supermarket is close by too. I had a problem with the key card as if cannot be used to open the door, had to wait for IT guy from other site to get to at for 2 hours. Once resolved all went well."

"close to train station. however I did have a bit of difficulty finding a path to the hotel from the station. Google maps was showing me different directions - the problem is that the station is parallel to the dom and to get to the road level, you have to do down and not up the stairs to the dom. I did not use the facilities or the food. I did appreciate that they had water in the room and fruits at the reception area. They also had left luggage at no charge."

"Location was superb. Walking distance to train station, cathedral, shopping area… you name it. Staff were very friendly, breakfast was good. Pillow was a bit strange - just a flat square but room was comfortable. Little to no noise from the outside. Bathroom small but adequate. Was quite difficult to control water temperature but once you figure it out you’re all set. Overall a very good stay, would book a room here again"

"Positive: 3-4 minutes walk to subway/street car stations and bus stops (we had no car, and used Deutschlandticket; commute to Koeln Hbf around 20-25 min), supermarkets (ReWe, Aldi, Lidl) around the corner. Washer (3 EUR) and Dryer (2 EUR) on site. Ipartment has an office in the building: feedback about the apartment has been immediately acted upon; they do Quality checks on the apartment; linens and towels are changed every other week. Nice Biergarten (Gilden Brauhaus) 10 min walking. Negative: Ipartment pics are misleading. Pictures are not linked to apartment categories. Suggest to clarify prior to booking. Overall: Clevischer Ring (B8) is a heavily occupied street, police/ambulances, with sirens on, passed the building on multiple occasions daily. "No AC" (my wife, US) was solved with "windows open" (me, German), but we had to close them at night to keep the traffic noises outside. We stayed for 5 weeks and would stay there again!"

"Location is good - 30 seconds to u-bahn station, 10 mins from big deutsche bahn/s-bahn station (not the main station though). a bit far away from restaurants, but if you walk 10 mins, you will be there. We have not taken breakfast, cause it was too pricey (30EUR per person) and used the restaurants nearby instead. Also, spa is available for the reduced price of 6 EUR per person incl. some amenities, but we have not used this due to lack of time"
