"Facility location service was all good. Food is also delicious. Near to a local rail station, if u want to take a train ride beside sea for fun. At the opposite side of the hotel you will get the local food, super shop, mall and bus stand."

"You get what you pay for and what’s stated. The location is very good, there’s a local supermarket around the corner for supplies. My only issue is, there were urine stains on my toilet seat - I cleaned it myself, how it got there I do not know. Also the service attitude of one of the receptionist (her name is Madhu) left a sour taste for me - I changed my plans and reduced my stay, she demanded that I cannot do that and I cannot leave - without listening to me about the refund which had already been issued. Her peers were much friendlier. The staff for breakfast were super accommodating and nice, also the two ladies in the cafe downstairs."

"This hotel is located in an area with plenty of restaurants and shops. The staff is quite polite, helpful and friendly with a big smile on their faces. The rooms and bathrooms are pretty clean, with a nice size and no noise. The views are nice as well. Air-conditioning wroks properly. We took one hour from the airport. We have decided to come back to our last night in Sri Lanka."

"Wow! What a fantastic crew at this hotel. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your stay. Whatever you want, they will help you find. In addition, they have a simple but quite hospitable breakfast with some decent choices. I think what impressed us the most was the care they took to notice of we needed water, seemed lost, or needed help, even hooking us up for a motorcycle rental. Nice job, great staff, walking distance to a romantic dinner on the beach!"

"The hotel is conveniently located: not far from the city center and the main attractions. The hotel is clean. But in my room there was no promised minibar (refrigerator) and such a trifle as slippers. Breakfasts are a C."

"The Den 23 is a perfect place to stay. The owner is very helpful and goes into detail when explaining and recommending places to visit. He also provides you with a leftlet that has some basic sinhala words. The roof top bar has an amazing view of the city. The staff is helpful and I'll recommend this place if you want to go around Colombo with little effort."

"Located at the most central avenue of Colombo has very nice view to the Indian Ocean, particularly from the rooftop garden and swimming pool, which probably is the largest in Asia. I was in this garden in 2018 and now is like a roof forest. The gym is well equipped and with panoramic view. The hotel is at the top of the mall, the dream of my wife. Every hour there was a shuttle to a tropical beach just outside Colombo. We did also the complementary half day tour to the city that was well organized. Excellent service and comfort."

"The room was clean and there was an aircon inside. Bedsheets were clean as well. They also provide a normal blanket (not just the second linen) and a towel (for free). Some of guests are not respectful to the neighbors (it was not quiet during quiet hours in the room). There was a safe and comfortable locker for luggage. As for bath and toilet it was also pretty clean. There was hot water but no shampoo/shower gel in bath cabins. There were no latches on the shower doors and no hangers inside. There was toilet paper in toilet cabins. There was a kettle in lobby on ground floor. As for cold drinking water they don't provide it. Internet connection was unstable and worked only from time to time. There were some compliment drinks as tea/coffee in the morning. Located in 15-20 mins walking distance from railway station. The staff was accomodating and helpful."
