"Extremely welcoming , personable, and informative hosts. Made our family feel as though we were visiting family members out of town. Property is very relaxing, beautiful country side, interesting history, and plenty of animals to watch or interact with. We met Fonzie their pet deer, so cute . Both rooms we had were very clean and well furnished. Only item my wife missed was a full length mirror. Breakfast was delicious both days , hosts very accommodating if we needed anything special. Highly recommend staying at this property for those interested in relaxing, fun, historical location, and perfect hosts"

"Our initial plan was to visit San Antonio and stay in a hotel in the city. We're so glad we didn't! We loved staying at Kuebler Waldrip Haus and learning about its history and the family who lives here. Eating a delicious breakfast with the owners, Margie and her son Darrell Waldrip was a great way to start our 3 days. We stayed in the porch room in the schoolhouse, which is roomy enough for 2, includes a kitchenette and a porch, which has a view of the sunrise and the surrounding countryside. One of our best memories is sipping on a glass of wine on a beautiful day in the patio garden with Margie, Darrell and the baby deer they've rescued. Loved the peace and quiet at the B&B instead of staying in the city of San Antonio, but we did spend a day in the city and took a River Walk boat ride. Best dinner we had was at the Alpine, a German restaurant in New Braunfels."

"This small city has a beautiful man-made river, a real 'river walk' experience. There are boat tours with commentary, and it's thoughtfully designed with half the area dedicated to restaurants and the other half to scenic views. It takes about half an hour to walk the entire loop."

"Spent the weekend at Petit Cowboy to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and it was a fabulous experience. We stayed in one of then newly renovated cabins by the pool. The room was super comfortable. The beds were so comfortable that I asked the staff where I could buy one for my home!! The manager helped us set up a hibachi dinner for our friends in the event space behind the pool, which overlooks the Comal river. I love that they offer drink service at the pool, and the clubhouse was awesome to hang out in at night. I will definitely be back for another weekend getaway soon."
