"super affordable. my room was really clean and the facilities like showers and kitchen was clean too. it was off season so not much crowd, plenty of space in the fridge for my food. Room had everything i needed, including a fan. Laundry services were slightly pricey at $6/wash and $6/dry, bring your own detergent, or buy some during store hours at the little shop near checkin. no vending machine for it! really rocky beach right behind the property, had loads of fun just hanging around."
"Although we had booked the economy room at the back with garden view, we had a small private terrace at leisure. And finally *** could sleep with the door open and singing birds, because there were mosquito nets (the first time in NZ after more than three weeks!). Equipment modern and at a high level. We would return, but the next time with water view book - these units looked fantastic even for longer stays!"
"I am 2 adults and 1 child. I didn't expect to add children when I made the reservation. Therefore, only 2 adults were written on the order. For single bunk beds. When I left the next day, I was asked to make up for $40 because I was late for check-in and didn't tell them there was a child (they meant that they had to tell them the actual number of people for safety, but I didn't have an extra bed). I really don’t know that the last checkin time is 8pm. I only saw 2pm-10pm check out on the order. I arrived at 8:45, no one at the front desk, closed the door. In fact, the old couple slept in the house. Calls are not answered. Can't get in touch either. Fortunately, a compatriot from Taiwan helped me explain the situation without knowing what phone call was made (the old man came out immediately, if there is no help from the compatriots, I am ready to sleep in the car for one night), but he was immediately scolded by the old man. After a meal, the old lady appeared the next morning. . There is a kitchen, but the place to wash your face is separated from hot and cold water. Other foreigners staying in are very good, even I can't understand what to say is bad attitude. If I came earlier, it might be another treatment. I arrived here at 7 o'clock in the evening from Hot Water Beach. Who knew that the mountain roads were so difficult to open, and it was cloudy and dark. No one would always go abroad. But they are not easy. Mutual understanding. But I want to explain the situation."
"Great location, excellent pitstop for trips along Coromandel. Ample parking spots for those who are driving or on road trips.
Only downside was the WiFi, as it was rather unstable."
"Nice place. We were close to the toilets/kitchen so not so much walking. 👌🏻 There wasn't a lot of people around so no loud noises and good access to amenities without having to wait. We had our own parking spot right in front of our door as well, which is nice."
