El Trebol

This is my second time visiting this hotel and honestly it’s got even better than last year! We were here for 2 weeks at the beginning of September and honestly loved every minute. The girls who run the entertainment work their socks off and are great with the children and have really good banter with the adults too, you can see they don’t have much of a budget but honestly we joined in with most activities and we had a laugh every time. Don’t listen to the reviews about untidy apartments because the house keepers work their absolute socks off, not good English but if you do need to speak with them they use a translator. Yes there’s cockroaches but in the 2 weeks I was there I can count on 1 hand how many I saw. ZERO in the room! The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the lunch wasn’t really up to much but I’m a fussy eater so I wasn’t too bothered, evening meals were lovely but because of the time we were there we found the food a little repetitive so ate out every few days. The drinks are lovely but if you don’t like what’s on offer on an evening go into the adults only bar and buy what you are after as it’s super cheap and the cocktails are yummy. The cleaning staff that work in the restaurant are so lovely and always clear tables at a timely manner. They have a slush machine in the snack bar and let me tell you it was incredible they’ll even put alcohol in it for you if that’s what you like. If you come here expecting a 5 star then I’m sorry you are going to be sorely disappointed, it’s brilliant for a 3 star. The pools are cold but so what jump in and you’ll be fine. The girls don’t keep pestering you to join in either if you say no they’ll be polite and move on, but personally I would join in because the kids love it when the adults join in and you get to know people who are staying there with you too. 100% recommend this to anyone as the location is spot on and the hotel is just fab!

From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we had an amazing time. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was very spacious, clean and well presented. The food at the hotel is absolutely delicious , lots of choice every day all day. The pool areas are lovely and there are spaces to sit in the shade too. I cannot fault this hotel at all. It was my first time in Lanzarote and I'm so glad I chose this hotel. I absolutely loved the island and will be returning next year and definitely be staying at El Trebol. Thanks to everyone at El Trebol for making my 2 weeks here an enjoyable holiday. I will recommend to all my friends and family. *****

We have just returned from a week’s family holiday which we booked over 6 months ago. We read the more recent reviews and were dreading our trip. Well we must have been staying somewhere else as we didn’t find any of the more recent reviews to be true. In summary we found Positives Very clean and tidy grounds and room Very spacious room with kitchen area Huge balcony Great selection of food - never ate the same meals twice Plenty of sun beds available Staff friendly and helpful Close to shops, bars and beach Beer, wine and Sangria on tap Hot drinks on tap Soft drinks on tap Negatives Food could be hotter Only one bar open at night Piano bar cocktails were not the best. Overall our family were pleasantly surprised and had a very enjoyable holiday 👍

Just returned from a 4 night stay with my husband. I had been a little worried by some recent bad reviews but I honestly can’t believe they’re talking about the same hotel. From the minute we arrived we loved it. The man who checked us in was lovely and instructed us clearly on how to find our apartment. The apartment itself was clean. The food was the best all inclusive food we’ve had. Plenty of choice, always hot and fresh and restaurant kept clean and tidy. Beer, wine, sangria and soft drinks on tap in the pool bar. The machine cocktails in the club weren’t great and way too sweet for me but we enjoyed the local spirits. We didn’t try the snacks in the pool bar as we couldn’t fit in any more food around meal times! Our room was cleaned twice in the 4 days we were there. We used the main pool which was cold but as soon as you were properly in it was absolutely fine and a lovely break from the heat. There were always sun loungers available. We didn’t join in with any activities but the Tui reps were going around each day to get people signed up. As soon as the pools closed at 6, the loungers were stacked up and the area was jet washed. We also saw pathways being swept. It always looked very clean. We didn’t use the club much in the evening as it was our first child free break so we didn’t want to sit through kids entertainment but we did pop in there later on a couple of times. It took us 10 minutes to get to the beach and there were so many shops and bars within walking distance including a supermarket right outside. Overall we had an amazing little holiday. We wished we had more time there and are already planning our next visit!

We recently stayed at El Trebol, upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who gave us all the info we needed and pointed us in the direction of our room. Can't fault our room,it was lovely and clean. Spacious with a generous balcony overlooking the pool area and had a drying rack/line. There was also a kitchette which we really appreciated and made use of on occasion. Always found something to eat at the buffet even if there were some random choices. The meat on Sunday roast day was beautiful, even better than some carvery places in the UK, always fresh pizzas at dinner which were a firm favourite. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and the pool bar served snacks throughout the day. Hotel is situated really well with lots of amenities close by and a short walk to the beach. The only let down for us was the chaos at the buffet, everyone going in at all angles and the noise in the restaurant at times...not the hotels fault. Overall a pleasant stay

The accommodation was clean and tidy and spacious. Plenty of choices for all the family in the restaurant morning, noon and night. Snacks and drinks available all day from the pool bar. The local alcoholic drinks were acceptable. Checking in very easy and staff very pleasant and helpful. Evening entertainment good for the kids and several acts later for the adults. Pools very good but water is cold- best just to jump straight in. Would definitely go there again and would recommend to family's.

Leaving El trebol today after a week's stay. Before arriving I was a bit worried due to some negative comments. However, I honestly can't complain. From arrival. Check in was quick and easy. Also not arriving till 10.30pm. we were pleasantly surprised the restaurant was open for us for food for half an hour. Such a lovely touch. We were in room 351. Room was spotless. Basic but very clean with a small kitchen with hob, microwave, kettle and fridge. Which you don't always get in an all inclusive. Food was very good. Always a selection and something for everyone. The themed nights were an added bonus and the Mexican night my favourite. Drinks are grand. Cocktails not great but expected in a 3star all inclusive. Altho can ask for any spirits and beer, wine, sangria, and soft drinks all self serve. Lots off snacks and ice cream during day. Entertainment staff were good and lots off energy. Our Little one certainly loved the mini disco. 5min stroll down to beach and a little further to main square but plenty shops/restaurants on route. Pools and grounds kept very well. Seen the workers cleaning thoroughly every morning. Will defo book again and soon. Loved this hotel and beautiful Costa teguise. Thank you xx

I honestly don’t know why this hotel gets bad reviews. For a three star place, it ticks all the boxes. It’s clean, the rooms are spacious and there’s always something to eat in the dining room. You must be really fussy to leave a bad review! This is my second time here, and I have no complaints. Great value for money.
