B&B les Secrets de Tifayne ★★★
"That's it. Let's move around."
Hôtel Mercure Libourne Saint-Émilion ★★★★
"It was my wine tour’s first stop and I’ve decided to check in one day earlier to minimize the hectic change of hotel (was hooping between hotels in the next 4 days 😅). Issue it’s not close to train station and you need to walk 20 mins to SNFC for Bordeaux. That said, it was a zen and relaxing area and if you do not need move around a lot and it’s nice spending a few days relaxing. What was the best is the staff (Natasha and Emilie, sorry didn’t ask the spelling 😅), they were super friendly and helpful - sparing one pair of slippers for me coz my room’s grading didn’t include slippers 😅), which I didn’t prepare any slippers. The ladies did me a great favour and I cannot survive without slippers in hotel 🤣 Lastly Natasha has shown me a detailed map which I can walk to Libourne SNFC to reach my tour buddies, which has eased my life in Libourne too 😍"
B&B Hotel Bordeaux Saint André de Cubzac
"Very clean Hotel Reception and available staff Quality litter I recommend this establishment"
Château Fleur de Roques - Puisseguin Saint Emilion ★★★
"This hotel was simply excellent in all aspects... the welcoming service from the hotel staff, the size and cleanliness of the rooms and the food available, not to mention the ability to charge my car overnight bearing in mind our location in the middle of vineyards. This was one of my favourite hotels of our holiday."
L'Art Dit Vin
"When I booked to be in the region, I knew what I was going to find at the Hotel l'Art Dit Vin. Located in front of the station of Saint Aigulin (less than 2000 inhabitants), I was wondering if I would find the old charm of these rural institutions that I had cottaged when I was a student. In the 1970s, when the SNCF revised its railway mail, many stations closed while others continued. But the hotels face to the stations had to renovate their faces. This is certainly the case of Art Dit Vin that was then fit in the 1970s. The travelers of then no longer stayed there. I really had the feeling of traveling in the time when we spent the night there. Most of these hotels have closed. The end of a world. The current owners have been able to negotiate the deadly turn of the rural exodus. This hotel resists globalization and its paradigms by developing a remarkable restaurant. This is why I have a clean and welcome rooms, despite the corridors with the sweet moquettes, but whatever it is, we come to a hotel of the last century to sleep there. But before you join your room, enjoy the restaurant which is, in my opinion, a pepite. Dine at "L'Art Dit Vin" and join your room. You will only remember the gastronomic break under the 100-year-old tileul of the garden. In summary, radiate in the region, book a room at a price of a rare quality price ratio and dine on site which you will keep the memory of a moment of great softness."
Auberge de la Commanderie ★★★
"It's cozy, but the room facilities are so-so. You'll be outdoors most of the time anyway. Staying overnight in this small town isn't a problem; it's safe. The hotels my friends stayed at were all full."
Aux ducs de Sienne ★★★★
"This hotel is located near the ancient city of Aimilon, about a ten-minute drive away. There's a vineyard next to the hotel, so I'm sure it's very popular in August. However, there's a small cemetery next to it, which is something we Chinese are quite wary of."
