"The hotel, nestled in the woods, had a nice view, but the facilities were quite old. The sink faucets had separate hot and cold water dispensers; the hot water was scalding, and the cold water was freezing. The fourth floor had recreational facilities. We encountered a tour group of elderly people playing cards and billiards there. I ordered a pizza, which was quite good and suited my Chinese palate."

"We had a great overnight stay. It was a stop on the W Highland Way. Had a room for two with a big en-suite shower room. Great shower. Very good drying facilities which was useful as there were 50 Belgian teenagers sharing the hostel that night. Really nice staff too. V good kitchen facilities. An excellent little supermarket nearby , open"

"Carmen and Tom go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at ease at their warm cottage. The rooms are simple, but lovingly stocked with tea making facilities, refrigerators with complementary snacks and drinks. The hosts have out much thought into everything: from the information sheet on the wall to the huge West Highlands Trail and Scotland folder in each room. Breakfast was amazing, yummy and plentiful. The love and care that goes into this place is clearly felt."

Their breakfast is superb and Veronica prides herself on her Continental Breakfast and she does a fabulous spread. It is so good! The bed, linen and toiletries are all high quality which adds to the charm and warmth of this special time with them. We wished we could have stayed longer."
