Crieff Hydro ★★★★

"We enjoyed our stayed as a family but the service and food in the buffet style restaurant at night was very poor as food was cold and we were finished eating before we received our drinks. We eventually managed to speak to a manager about it. However, we have stayed before and ate in other restaurants and they were good. Upgrades to winter garden bar were nice but again service for drinks very slow. Overall a 6.5/10 stay."

The Tower Gastro Pub & Apartments ★★★★

"Room was not huge but it was well laid out. Comfortable bed, fridge, toaster and fresh coffee granules. En suite shower room compact but perfectly functional. Great views over Vale of Strathearn. Excellent breakfast basket. Will definitely return"

Comrie Hotel ★★★

"Stayed 2 nights on way up to Fort William. June the owner was very welcoming and shown us to our room which was warm and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was pre-ordered day before. There was a wide choice to choose plus choice of eating time. Large carpark. We had a great nights sleep and in the morning June welcomed us for breakfast. Everything was served nice and hot. We even stayed again the following week on our reverse journey back home. Although there is no bar or evening meals at the hotel it is a great hotel. Will definitely stay again if visiting Scotland."

The Royal Hotel ★★★

"We knew of the Royal Hotel from having lived in the area 30 years ago but had never been beyond the bar before. We chose the Royal to celebrate the New year with family members who had travelled from New Zealand to be with us. We could not have chosen better! The staff were amazing, anticipating all our requirements. The rooms were comfortable and the food excellent. The Gala Dinner on Hogmanay was very special. A truly memorable New Year which was enjoyed by all three generations. Thank you."
