Premier Inn London Croydon (Purley A23)

A decent one night stay. Everything clean but some of the electrics not operational in the room, Needs some TLC from the maintenance folks. Night person very helpful and courteous. Did not manage breakfast due to early check out so can’t comment.

Outstanding customer services from the word go… a little tired maintenance wise in places, Ram and the team really make up for this with their friendly, attentive manner which is something that I just need to share… I’d take them back to my hotel in a heartbeat… thank you all for making what could have been a average weekend waiting for my son at a course a pleasant experience, even letting me wait in the breakfast room after checkout and with the coffee machine on! 😃

Excellent value and easy to find. Clean and well organised inn. Perfect room comfortable bed, excellent shower and good facilities. Wonderful breakfast... thank you to Ram and the chef. If you are visiting London I can recommend this Premier Inn.

The breakfast was delectable - absolutely stunning. the scrambled eggs in particular, the fluffiest i’ve ever eaten. shoutout to our favourites: ram and alishba, who constantly checked in on us, and made us lots of hash browns. thanks guys!

The rooms are to hot and have no air conditioning in them , the bed was disappointing and we only had one hand towel and one bath towel for two people even though we asked at reception for some more. Very old rooms and disappointing overall.

The public areas, hallway, stairs and the bedroom were smelly and grubby. Old fashioned brown decor. No aircon, room was 27.5 degrees at 7pm.

VENTILATION PROBLEMS : Due to poor ventilation in the hotel and very hot room temperature, it was impossible to sleep well. 25° in the room. and 28° in the corridor. The windows were hinged so that they could not be opened wide to let the summer heat out. Unbearably hot at night. COLOUR SCHEME : The interior colour scheme (dark brown) was totally depressing and probably chosen so that cleaning can be kept to a minimum. Even the pictures on the wall were dark brown. What a depressing sight! I hated the room colour so much that I never want to stay in a place like that again. It had the atmosphere of a dungeon. IMPROVEMENT: This hotel needs to be re-painted in cleaner and lighter colours. BATHROOM: The bathroom was pleasant with nice wall tiles but the floor was dark brown to hide the residual dirt.

Great location for what we needed it for! Service great! But extremely hot rooms and despite given fans it was not enough to cool the room down.

Since being in London, I've stayed at several hotels and this was by far the most hospitable. The staffs attention to customer satisfaction goes above and beyond, from checking if we happy with the cleniles in our room to asking how is our day our stay and putting a smile on our face. I would like to personally mention and thank Shalini, Alisha for their efficiency and kindness during our stay. Also my gratitude for the time Arslan took to put a smile on my mums face engaging in conversation as we have been going through a difficult time. I'm not a big fan of leaving comments and reviews but the staff feom reception to kitchen including the cleaners and their hars work, this Premier Inn deserves a top rating.
