"This is a wonderful place to stay if you want to stay in the centre of the rainforest and you don’t mind a bit of rustic charm. The cabins themselves are fairly basic and could do with a thorough clean - windows, beams etc there is a no daily house keeping but the location is unrivalled. What a place to wake up! The food was a real highlight for us. Intimate dining setting, excellent food and we felt good value. Breakfast was included. The hosts were fantastic. So polite and Sasha was super helpful providing recommendations. The location of the lodge is excellent for getting to all parts of the rainforest - Cape Trib approx 30 min drive North. We can’t compare to other lodge resorts as we didn’t stay elsewhere on the trip but we were very happy with our choice for a couple of nights."

"Unbelievable experience, tucked in the jungle surrounded by beauty..really beautiful and accommodating owners of the property, and can see the hard work they have put in to accomplish what they have to offer, walking trails, knowledge, bird life/sounds. Not to far from Port Douglas and the reef at your feet.. Accomodation is super comfortable and shower facilities on another level.. Great holiday and kids were blown away"

"Robbie and Charmaine's B&B is so stunning, and their service and lovely personalities make Daintree Manor a must-stay. The views from the balcony are UNBELIEVABLE; the common area and rooms are so beautifully decorated and cosy; beds amazingly comfortable; spotless; lovely and spacious bathrooms; the grounds are absolutely gorgeous and perfectly manicured, down to the chooks running about. Included breakfast was delicious and filling. I cannot recommend this perfect spot enough as a taste of the Daintree, and gateway to Cape Tribulation."

"We arrived at Daintree Peaks ECO Stays later in the afternoon and were warmly welcomed by the owner, Greg. He showed us to our room and shared some helpful information about the lodge and its surroundings. Once settled, we took a leisurely walk around the property, admiring the abundance of fruit trees Greg has growing, before enjoying a refreshing dip in the creek — the water was beautifully clear and bracingly cold. That evening, my partner and I chose a board game from the lodge’s collection while waiting for dinner, which added to the relaxed and homely atmosphere. Dinner was a highlight: steak with vegetables and sautéed greens, cooked perfectly and thoroughly enjoyed. Greg was incredibly attentive throughout the evening, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Our room was spotless, comfortably air-conditioned, and very peaceful, allowing us both to enjoy an excellent night’s sleep. In the morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast, including an array of freshly picked fruit and eggs on toast, which my partner particularly enjoyed. Overall, we absolutely loved our one-night stay. For two people who are constantly busy with work, it was the perfect opportunity to unwind, switch off, and truly appreciate the beauty and tranquillity of the world’s oldest rainforest."

"Absolutely beautiful, ( for our 30th anniversary ) The spotless Big Bungalow was equipped with everything you could possibly need, 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, ceiling fans in every room, no need for AC, fresh ocean breeze through the screened windows, loved the open bathroom and the laundry facilities, .... but the best part were the owners, Jodie and Dean are probably the most delightful hosts we've met, friendly and professional, we would certainly like to come back. "We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Matt’s place. Our large room with bathroom and its own porch was great. The communal areas on the front of the home for dinning and relaxing were great for interacting with other guests as was breakfast which included generous platters of tropical fruit, cereals, toast, tea and coffee. The kitchen suitable for cooking meals has a shared fridge freezer. The front terrace was a favourite for a beer in the afternoon warmth watching the sunset. Matt was a great host, really made us feel welcome and had lots of advice in regards where to go and what to see. Thanks for having us."
