The first time I came to Dalian, I booked a hotel for a business trip.
Hotel location is very good, very close to the subway station, and is a conversion station for two lines, travel is very convenient.
The service attitude of the hotel is very good, I answered the invoice question by phone before check-in in detail. The procedures for check-in and check-out invoicing are very convenient and basically responsive.
The overall style of the hotel is very simple and warm, the big bed room is not large, but it is fully functional, and it is convenient to stay alone.
The dining and leisure services around the hotel are also very convenient. It is also very convenient to order takeaways and have robots delivered to the room in time. A good hotel overall, I will book this one next time I come to Dalian.

🚗 Transportation: Very convenient, just a few steps out of the house is Metro Line 2, McDonald’s downstairs, and there are many delicious takeaways around, which is perfect
🧹Hygiene: Very poor, I didn’t think it at first, but I heard that the room was cleaned and the bed sheets, quilts and pillowcases were not changed after checking out in less than 2 days, the towels, bath towels and toiletries were not brought new, and the gloves were not changed after the bathroom was cleaned to put the mineral springs. Water, I hardly dared to use the hotel appliances, and the whole room was gray when the air conditioner was turned on, it was too broken
🍃Environment: The environment is okay, the room design is reasonable, the space is well used, and the lighting is also very good.
🔔Service: The service has nothing to say except for the power outage caused by the heavy rain. They are all very good, and the needs are met as much as possible and the response is timely

Everything is very good. The service is very good and makes up for a lot. The location of the hotel is easy to find. The subway and bus are very convenient. I went to Dalian to find this hotel by chance. The price is cheap and I have a try. The reception is really awesome, the service attitude is good, the hotel is very cost-effective, next time I come to Dalian, I will continue to live in this hotel, not worse than a certain court, and there is a parking lot parking, very convenient!

The location of the hotel is OK. You can see the Xinghai view from the upper floors. There are KFC and Starbucks convenience stores downstairs. The hardware in the room is OK, the bedding is OK, but the details need to be improved. In addition to the double sofa, I hope there are stools to sit on.

Take the baby to Dalian, halfway online, I chose this hotel, the overall feeling is not bad, originally set a twin room, the hotel saw the daughter upgraded to a parent-child room for free, the space is much larger than the normal big bed room, the children's toothbrushes are fully equipped, and the children are also given a small gift. There is also a children's play area in the lobby, and the health is good. I really appreciate it. Secondly, the location is still OK. It takes about15-20 minutes to take a taxi to various attractions. There is also a children's activity area on the first floor. It is very user-friendly and taken care of~

To be honest, I expected a lot for this hotel. Well too much expectation. 我想太多了！
The room, when we first entered it was smelly like I don’t know…like an old room.
Clean, yes. But the smell not so ok especially when we have a baby.
The Electric plugs, OMG😱 PLEASE FIX IT !!! At first it was ok but then it stopped everywhere. We need to find which electric plug works so we can boil the water and charge our phones.
And the last, the WIFI. Speechless on this one. I was thinking that I can do my work during stay at this hotel. But the connection sooooo poor !!!!!
I had to use my personal hotspot from my phone to do my work using laptop.
Well…I spoke to the receptionist but they said, well maybe because of a lot of people are using it.
Well….it’s a big hotel, not a small apartment or even house.
Anyways….next time I won’t take much higher expectations on this.

The hotel was excellent. The location is very accessible and well placed, close to subway connections, and Zhongshan Square. The room we initially got had a faulty remote controlled blinds system that was moving by itself. Once we raised the issue, we got moved to a different room by the staff who was very courteous, and provided us with a bowl of fruit as well, and sent one of the hotel staff to help us move our luggage. The other room was excellent with no real downsides, comfortable bed, and nice and good room ambience. The breakfast was very thorough with both local and foreign options. I opted for mainly local options since I like to immerse myself in local cuisine when travelling. It was delicious. The staff were also able to hold our luggage until the evening after checkout until we came back to take it. A very good experience, highly recommended.

This Hotel is very nice and located in the Center, close to the Railway station and many POI. The staff is friendly and tries to support the guests. The English language skills could be improved.
Unfortunately the Hotel and the rooms definitely need an extensive renovation. In our room several electric plug-sockets had been damaged, which is a severe danger. Also the control-units for the AC showed marks of overheating and damages.
The interior of the rooms and bathroom showed marks of abrasion and cheap repairs.
With this actions this Hotel could be one of the best in Dalian.

JJacob WayneThe hotel staff were so kind and friendly. They did not speak English but we're able to communicate using a translation APP. The brought extra water bottles to my room and asked about the room temperature. I ended up staying at my girlfriend's apartment instead of the hotel after the first night and they allowed me to cancel even though they didn't have to. I had ordered a jacket to be delivered to my room, which ended up arriving after I checked out. The hotel kept it for me and let me pick it up from there once delivered. The view from my room was awesome. The only negative was the walls were a little thin and I could hear the neighbors. I'd definitely stay here again.

我我叫莎莎This is an honest review that is not meant to dissuade anyone but to offer a thorough unbiased review. My opinion of New World before my stay was that it was a 5 star hotel, it certainly wasn't horrible, but after my stay and comparing to other Dalian hotels in its league that I've stayed in, think it doesn't fit the bill for a 5 star hotel. I can't complain about the service, Check in was swift and we got a free room upgrade and spa coupons, but the hotel room carpet was stained, there was dust in some places and the furniture and room amenities are aging, slightly dated and need to be improved (I didn't feel the need to zoom in on those issues so the pictures wont reflect this) . I loved that there were lovely art pieces throughtout the hotel and the fitness centre was top notch especially the heated pool. The breakfast buffet had fewer options than expected for a hotel of that standard but it was honestly delicious and satisfactory, they had both Chinese and Western dishes, fruit and cereal. The waitresses from Guo restaurant had the best service they went out of their way to make our dinner pleasant. The most disconcerting issue I had with New World was that the room deposit refund took longer than I've ever experienced, I found it highly unusual and somewhat disappointing because I've stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels and usually the refund is instant but they told us it would take up to 3 days. Maybe this is standard practice for them but it made no sense to me and I've never had to wait that long. In any case surely it doesn't take 3 days to check a room!

GGuest UserThis second time staying here, like the first, didn't disappoint. As before, visiting during the off-peak time is ideal for a quiet, uncrowded getaway.
The sea-view room is welcoming and comfortable, with a view that is uncluttered and peaceful; opening the patio doors to the sound of waves rolling in equals instant relaxation. Aside from having a super comfortable bed and all the useful amenities one could need, there were simple niceties about the room, like the ability to adjust the temperature and fan speed (which runs quietly without disturbing sleep), ample hot water to fill a soaker tub, and multiple options for adjusting the room lighting.
The hotel is immaculately clean, the grounds are meticulously maintained, and access to the beach is just steps away. The breakfast is substantial, with a variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The staff was friendly and happy to care for our needs, even providing a power converter which I forgot to pack.
Those in search of a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of the city can't go wrong by staying here. Highly recommend, and hope to visit again in the future. Hats off to the staff. 感谢你们让我们住得特别舒服！

The breakfast and dinner buffets were very tasty. Best breakfast buffet we’ve had in China so far! The only improvement would be the smell of the bedding in the room. It smelled just a bit dusty.

GGuest UserThe location is easy to find, right next to Xinghai Square. You can go to the park and see the sea when you go out. The guy at the front desk is very enthusiastic and professional. The house is very quiet, with good sound insulation, and the cleaning is quite timely. When I came back from breakfast, I found that it had been cleaned for us. Although the breakfast buffet does not have many styles, the quality is excellent. I will come again next time

MMark FlurryI've stayed at this location multiple times. It is a good location and I enjoy the house band in the pub (located in the basement). The Kempeski is definitely showing its ago, however. The marblework in the bathroom is cracked and some of the flooring is stained. The public bathroom (to the right of the lobby) is in desperate need of a makeover, i.e. recaulk the edges of the lavatory and do a deep steam cleaning of all tile. Breakfast was superb and the wait staff was doing a great job turning tables around for the next customers. I would probably stay again, but only if the prices are reduced.
