"The three of us booked a triple room. Unexpectedly, it was a large suite. The room was comfortable and spacious, and the temperature was just right. It rained when we climbed Songshan Mountain that day, and my clothes were soaked when we got back. The hotel has a drum washing machine and a garment steamer. It was really thoughtful. The staff at the front desk were very nice and made my stay very comfortable."

The advance booking included a shuttle service to Shaolin Temple, which was a big plus! 👍 The breakfast was plentiful, giving me plenty of energy for the hike. Because it was the off-season, I was upgraded to a new room and had a late check-out. They also provided complimentary drinks, and I spent the evening studying the travel guide to Dengfeng and its surrounding area provided in the room – a truly delightful experience."

The twin beds could be pushed together, which was great for families with kids. The room size was decent, and it even had a separate bathtub. What really made the experience special was the live Guzheng performance during breakfast. It was a wonderful touch!"

"We are a couple from Norway coming to Dengfeng/Shaolin to se the temples, learn about the history and see the mountains of Shaolin. This hotel is an absolute pearl. About 600m from the Shaolin Temple entrance. And 10 minutes by Didi/Taxi to Dengfeng town. We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel and hotel rooms were beautiful, clean and felt like a little oasis. The rooms had good aircondition, the toilets where automatic, bed and pillows very comfortable. Overall stylish and good quality. In addition there are free massage chairs, a tea shop, a room for fotbaths, a laundry room, excellent dinner menu and a rooftop lounge/dinner space with view of the mountains. The best part of the hotell was definitely the staff. Welcoming, warm and good people. Very kind and service minded. 10/10 recommend this hotel. Also would like to add Anna, a Chinese local guide who speaks English who was recommended to us by the hotel. Everyone and everything was very efficient and pleasant."

"The room was large and bright, and quite comfortable. However, the breakfast needs improvement. Around 8:00 AM, there was no bread left, so we asked the staff for more. They said they were out of it for the day. Bread costs several tens of yuan for a large bag, so this was too stingy. The coffee machine was out of water, and when we informed the staff, they didn't address the issue, simply saying they couldn't make coffee because of the lack of water. It gave the impression that they wanted everyone to finish eating quickly so they could close up shop. We hope this can be improved!"

Small details such as daily evening snacks or fruits delivered to the room we a nice touch and the on-site restaurant was priced reasonably.
