"We had a wonderful stay at La Posada del Mar and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area. The hotel’s harbourfront location is fantastic, and we were lucky enough to have a lovely room with beautiful harbour and sea views. It was such a nice place to relax after a day of exploring. The room itself was clean, light, airy, and extremely comfortable, making our stay feel very relaxing throughout. The location is also ideal for walking around the town and enjoying the many excellent restaurants and bars nearby, all within easy reach of the hotel. I also really appreciated the hotel’s focus on sustainability, with refillable toiletries in the bathrooms rather than lots of small plastic bottles — a thoughtful touch that more hotels should consider. On top of that, I loved that the hotel were thoughtful enough to put a bottle of bubbly in the room as it was my partner’s birthday while we were there — a really nice personal touch that made the stay feel extra special. Overall, this is a charming and comfortable hotel in an excellent location, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Absolutely the best experience ever. Pablo was the most amazing host ever and made the experience unforgettable. I wanted to watch the Dutch football match, went to my room, came downstairs and Pablo had set up the tv for me and brought me a drink and some snacks. Pablo really made the experience and should be rewarded as such. 10/10 would stay again!"

"In total, we stayed three nights in the hotel, two in December 2023 and one in February 2024. Both times, we enjoyed our stay. Both rooms offered sea and pool view, enough space and comfortable beds. Everything is clean and in mint condition. Elevator and free parking directly at the hotel are additional assets plus the really beautiful pool and garden area although it was too cold to use the pool. We can also recommend the restaurant, breakfast and dinner were very good. For us, the location outside of the city center was nice but you definitely need a car to go anywhere. Except of one receptionist who didn't even try to be helpful, all staff member were very nice and friendly. This is particularily true for Rebecca, an extremely kind person who did her very best to make us feel at home. In our opinion, one of the hotel's only real weak points is the fact that they don't have rooms with walk-in shower accessible for people with reduced mobility. The hotel is not cheap but you get value for money."
