Emeria Dinard Thalasso Spa ★★★★
"This four-star hotel was better than many of the five-star hotels I stayed at during my trip to France. Breakfast was included, and it even included oysters and champagne. The La Mer spa treatment and the shampoo and lotion in the room were quite good. I didn't know I needed to book dinner; I hadn't. I was scheduled for the second round at 8:45 pm, which was quite late. The waiters didn't speak English, and the food was just average."
Hotel du Parc ★★
"The hotel is excellent, near the parking, near the beach and restaurants, shops. Staff responsive, there were interruptions with wifi, had to reconnect every 30 minutes."
Restaurant Hotel Didier Méril ★★★★
"Stayed two nights with breakfast each morning and dinner one night. Room 6 was an attic room with a great view across the bay. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom marvellous use of space and an outstanding shower. Breakfasts were plentiful but perhaps not for the calorie conscious. However great launch pad for much dog walking in Dinard, Saint Malo and Cancale. Our meal on the Wednesday night was superb and fun to read the menu from an I-pad. We chose the two different gourmet menus, one of us had carpaccio and then the beef and the other had beef cheek followed by the veal. Both of us had the cheese from the magnificent cheese trolley and then the pear and almond dessert. We chose a couple of Languedoc wines that were both excellent and very good value, as many of the wines from there are. Finally the young serving staff were very enthusiastic, pleasant and knowledgeable. It was a great evening overlooking the Baie de Prieure "
Hotel Saint-Michel ★★
"Great landing point after 550 miles of cycling & before the ferry home the next day. Staff very helpful with safe places for our bikes, local seafood restaurant recommendation and early breakfast. Rooms clean, modern and very comfortable."
Hôtel-Restaurant Printania ★★★
"The Printania is a very quaint hotel. I had a seaview room and loved it. No air conditioning, but the room was reasonably cool. The location is excellent. Just round the corner from the beach. If you have a car, make sure to book parking. I found myself a paid spot. Parking outside in the road is nigh on impossible. I never saw a space. Breakfast was very basic continental - tea, coffee, croissants, jam, cakes etc. - but nice. Had a meal in the restaurant and found the service there was poor, though the food good. Reception and the staff overall were very helpful. It is a very quaint hotel. "
Castelbrac Hotel & Spa ★★★★★
"Superb welcome, as always, for excellent tea and hot chocolate late Saturday morning after the market. It’s a pleasure to come and spend some time in this magnificent place. Experience to be repeated as soon as possible."
Best Western Hotel Le Crystal Dinard ★★★
"The journey to the hotel went smoothly. The hotel has an underground car park only about 100 metres from the hotel, which was very spacious by French standards. Bravo. The architecture of the hotel itself is very reminiscent of the 80s and does not fit in at all with the surroundings. The reception at the hotel was dismissive and reserved. Our room turned out to be small and functional, but clean and with a great view of the bay. As our room was cold, we turned on the heating only to find that it had to be activated by reception, which was only done on request. However, the temperature was limited so that the room didn't get really warm. Obvious savings are being made here. The breakfast offer was very small and spartan, old baguette, old bread. In addition, the breakfast room lacked what the car park had in abundance: space. It was very cramped both at the small buffet and at the seats in the adjoining room."
Hôtel de La Vallée ★★★
"The Hotel is very scenically located and has warm, friendly staff. Our frustration at having to wait four days for our ferry to the Channel Islands has been mitigated by a big comfortable bed, excellent room facilities , good restaurant and nearby parking. And 30 euros a night cheaper than a box room in a faceless chain hotel in St Malo."
Hotel Balmoral Dinard ★★★
"well located, traditional, great staff, good value for money, varied breakfast in a bright and comfortable room. Free parking in the nearby room, elevator, quiet room, well-equipped bathroom. Character resort, restaurants nearby."
