"Very cozy, great breakfast, and amazing staff."

"Beautiful hotel right on the front with amazing views. Hotel is immaculately clean and very quiet, perfect for families. The rooms and front doors are keyless and operated by codes which isn’t a problem, just take a photo of the welcome letter on your phone before heading out. Will definitely stay again! The hotel itself doesn’t have a restaurant or bar but there is a lovely place next door for meals (including breakfast). We were told you could bill back to the room but we chose to pay as we went."

"This hotel was dirty and old also far from everything. The reception staff was incredibly impolite. They gave us a room very far from the elevator, and when we finally arrived, the key card didn’t work. I had to drag all my luggage back to the reception desk. The receptionist reset the card without even apologizing. The rudest part was that she wrote the room number on a piece of paper again, acting as if it were my mistake! The only positive thing I can say about this hotel is the variety of fruits at breakfast. So, if you are planning to book this hotel, do it only for the fruits."

"The hotel is located on the beachfront in downtown Douglas, with a bus stop right outside where bus number 1 goes directly to the airport. The single room was very comfortable, and I was given a top-floor room even though I requested one in advance – a big plus! Although the room didn't have a direct view of the sea, the hotel is directly opposite it, and the price is much cheaper than many nearby hotels, making it a great deal. However, if you want breakfast, I recommend booking it in advance with your room, as the on-site price is quite high."

"The location is on the promenade but a 30 minute walk from Douglas centre, there was not a lot in the immediate vicinity. Parking is on street (with restrictions) and hit and miss with space for our motorcycles not always available outside the hotel. The interior of the hotel is a little tired. Three of us stayed in a family room with two single beds and a bunk bed the room size was adequate but on entering it had a strong cooking type smell which remained throughout our stay. The flush on the toilet didn’t work properly, the shower was over the bath which was awkward to get in and out of and the bath itself seemed to be of thin plastic and had a little give when standing in it. The weather was hot yet the room windows had security wires preventing them from being opened more than a few inches, there was no fan and the room was stifling during the day and hot through the night. Apart from at the time of our arrival we never saw a member of staff for our entire stay. Breakfast was only available between 8am and 9am so we did not visit the restaurant. This was a last minute booking and as such our choice was limited and the hotel provided us with the night time accommodation we needed for a week but I would not return."

"We recently enjoyed a wonderful staycation at The Regency Hotel in the Isle of Man, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Paul at check-in, whose friendly and professional service set the tone for our stay. We choose the Presidential Suite and it was definitely great value! The room was spacious, elegant, and with breathtaking views. The lift was also a piece of History! Never have I ever had to close lift doors manually! A great experience! Some elevator music would really top this experience off. Dinner at the hotel's L'Experience Restaurant was equally impressive. The menu offered a fantastic selection of dishes, and the food was both beautifully presented and delicious. You must try the award winning French Onion Soup! Simply amazing! The service throughout the evening was outstanding, making it a perfect end to our day. The room was extremely comfortable for our overnight stay, extremely cosy during the raging storm outside! Overall, the hospitality, attention to detail, and superb service made this staycation one to remember. We can’t wait to return!"

"Great location for an IOM visit, pleasant walk to the centre of Douglas or bus from virtually outside. Excellent breakfast and sandwiches if required. Comfortable clean bedrooms and Justin is a superb host. We were made really welcome and will most definitely return."
