"The facilities are quite satisfactory, a little old, the front desk is very polite, in short, it is worth the price, and there is no peculiar smell. The room is slightly small but completely sufficient. The check-in process is relatively intelligent."

"I stayed in a single guest room for 2 nights prior to a cruise. The inn is cozy and charming and the owners are so lovely! The single room is small (as expected) but comfortable with adequate storage, private, and quiet - I slept like a baby. The location is perfect with the Dover Castle a short (but steep) walk away, and town center and beach/marina no more than a 10-minute walk away. The WiFi is great, and the room has everything you need. The breakfast is homemade, cooked to order, and delicious! Sharon and her husband are wonderful hosts!"

"The cleanliness of this family-run guesthouse was reassuring; the sheets and blankets smelled of sunshine, the tables and floors were spotless, and even the corners of the bathroom were impeccably clean. The room was decorated with carefully tended green plants and warm-toned lamps, creating a cozy and homey atmosphere. The host was also incredibly hospitable, readily sharing travel tips for the surrounding area, making for a comfortable and heartwarming stay."

"Danni was excellent. Welcoming, friendly and efficient. She was able to resolve an issue immediately and did so with a smile - a rarity nowadays. I travel a lot for both work and personal, and she was definitely on par with other excellent receptionists I have met across the globe. Thanks PREMIER inn, and thanks Danni!"

"You pay your money...and all that. However....We dropped for a pre ferry night. All checked in and got in room which was mediocre at best. Kettle didnt work and realised that no wall sockets worked. (Apparantly this is common practise in some establishments, not saying that they did , of course) Went to reception and found them using their computer to check others in, which i found strange. We tackled him and he stated that the electric on that day had stopped 1 hour before we arrived and th ere was "no engineers" available. (Sounds familiar). We retreated to the room to open the fridge with remnants of food and meat blood in the top. We tackled him again and he visited... we went for food and still the fridge had not been cleaned. In fact they just ignored us and we never saw them again . Never got electric sockets and that was that. Oh....the river view is a look over a storm type drain. We gave them a week to respond to a really fair and constructive email but here we are...writing this review. Avoid this place..."

"Beautiful place to stay, Very modern clean room & bathroom, tastefully decorated, The bed was super comfy with lovely fresh linen, dressing gown & slippers were provided which is a great addition as many b&bs do not provide these, The room was cosy & had underfloor heating, The Staff were all friendly & helpfully, We booked a table for 13 last minute & even though the pub was very busy with people eating they accommodated us all, the service was spot on & food delicious all my guests commented on how lovely their food was, great job at such short notice, A beautiful friendly country pub in a lovely village with hill & counrty side views, would highly recommend as a place to stay & eat,"

"The location is good, but there is no lift, it is inconvenient to transport luggage, I live in room 9 on the 4th floor, so I didn’t carry much luggage up, and I am driving by myself and need to find a nearby place to park. I booked the basic room. You have to go downstairs to take a shower. Not recommended to rent here if driving."
