"The hotel is located not far from train station. There are local restaurants and shops around. It is pretty quiet area. The rooms are clean and a bit old fashioned. It may be hot in summer time as air conditioning is working to slow to cool down the room temperature. Be aware if you have an early flight you may not find any taxi or public transport to the airport and the only option would be to go there by foot. It takes around 1h walk to the airport but pedestrian walk is narrow and not optimal for heavy luggage!"

"We stayed here because of an early flight out of Trieste.  The convenience and proximity can’t be beat.  The evening woman was helpful and sweet.  She arranged our 5am cab which came right on time!  The morning gentleman put breakfast out early, 4:30am (!) just for us!"

"I had the pleasure of staying two nights at the Hotel Franz, located in a charming little town about a 40-minute drive from Trieste and just 15-20 minutes from the Palmanova Village outlet mall. The location is perfect: the town, with its manageable size, is full of charm, with accessible riverside paths and lively restaurants in the evening. The hotel itself strikes a great balance: spacious enough to offer all the necessary amenities, but not so large as to lose its friendly atmosphere. The welcome was exceptional from beginning to end. The staff is very attentive, even going so far as to give me a thoughtful touch for my birthday, which I found particularly touching. You can tell they know each of their guests, which creates an almost familial atmosphere. The facilities are excellent: a pleasant swimming pool open until 7 pm, a well-equipped fitness area, and a spa for an additional fee (€30 per person). The breakfast is standard but comprehensive, and the rooms are spotlessly clean. A real plus for this hotel is that there are no children (even if you love them!): guaranteed peace and quiet. What's more, pets are welcome! Having traveled with my two cats, I was delighted to find they were treated like full-fledged guests. In short, the Hotel Franz is an excellent choice for anyone seeking comfort, tranquility, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, with the added advantage of being close to Trieste and Palmanova Village. Thanks to their attention to detail and their hospitality, this stay will remain a truly wonderful memory."
