"I specifically came to observe this place during my trip, curious about its story. It's only about 2 kilometers from the highway. Even though it's pitch black at night, it's not that difficult to drive. The area, including around the hotel, is still undeveloped, and it's over 20 kilometers from the county town. So, after 8 PM, there's practically no food available. The hotel has a small shop where you can buy snacks, but forget about delivery. During the day, you can go to the county town, to Dushan Grand Hotel, and experience 'palatial treatment.' Even if there are only two of you, you'll start with a large private room, with no minimum spend. However, from the hotel to the Grand Hotel, the food can only be described as very average, and Guizhou cuisine is heavy-handed and rough, though the portions are generous. Be cautious with shrimp paste beef; most people aren't used to it. The beef is tough to chew, and those accustomed to Chaoshan beef will find it hard to adapt. Plus, the lingering smell of shrimp paste on your clothes is truly indescribable. The room itself is large and quite clean. The air conditioning is sufficient; even with temperatures only a few degrees at night, the room can maintain around 27 degrees Celsius. It's quiet, and the hot water is fast and plentiful. There are plenty of parking spaces. The complimentary bottled water is good. The hotel's main attractions are its lobby and exterior. However, in my opinion, it's definitely not comparable to those high-end brands costing over a thousand, as many reviews claim. This is due to many details. For instance, the toiletries, the cobwebs on the wall decor behind the bed, the high curb when entering the elevator area from the underground parking (making it difficult to drag luggage), and the inexplicably steep slope of the underground parking lot which scraped my car's undercarriage several times. Also, there are design issues with the drainage in the room; unpleasant odors emanate from both the sink and the toilet. The buffet, however, is affordable; I've never seen a dinner buffet for 58 RMB per person. The quality of dishes from the Chinese restaurant needs improvement. Noodles are better than rice dishes. The minor issues that arose were handled with sincerity by the hotel. It's clear they value their guests and are very cautious. Currently, most guests are tour groups that arrive at night and leave first thing in the morning, so it's mostly empty during the day. This place is suitable for a few days of relaxation, especially in the summer for the hot spring pools. Note: The tall girl at the front desk on the second day, right up until checkout, deserves praise. I liked her service style."

"The homestay is built on a very high mountain. As you wind up along the mountain road, you can see villages built on cliffs along the way. After arriving at the B&B, there is another pastoral scenery with several wooden houses scattered around. The Shijing Suite we stayed in was very quaint and the bedding was comfortable. At dinner, I met Mr. Meng, the founder of the B&B. He was very welcoming and we sat together chatting and drinking. This is the meaning of staying in a B&B, making new friends. I heard from other guests that the other Jiafengyan store is a real paradise, very beautiful, and it takes 1.5 hours to walk from the parking lot. I must go and see it next time I have the chance."

"This hotel was a mixed bag. I'd had it on my wishlist for a long time and finally got to experience it. However, the journey was incredibly difficult. It took almost two hours to reach the hotel from the foot of the mountain, traversing numerous hills. It wasn't the winding mountain road I'd imagined, but rather a climb over several mountains… it was quite strenuous. The mountain roads were difficult to navigate, with constant passing. Drivers with limited skills or large vehicles should be cautious. The rooms at the top of the mountain, to be honest, didn't meet my expectations. They weren't very warm, especially the lobby and restaurant, which were quite cold. Those traveling in winter should be cautious. The rooms themselves were okay, but I heard the underfloor heating was turned on the day before. One problem with the rooms was that they were shrouded in fog all morning, completely obscuring the mountain view. If you arrive after 5 PM and check out the next day, you've basically missed everything. The staff were all very nice, enthusiastic, and hardworking. The owner must have had a tough time running the business in such a remote and difficult location. However, for example, the hairdryer was a Dreame brand, and the toilet was an unknown domestic brand… Given the price of the room, it's really unacceptable. I didn't even ask for body lotion… the amenities are just… indescribable. The outdoor hot spring is temperature-controlled, but it's too cold on the mountaintop in winter; you can't even stand outside, let alone soak in it… so the maintenance costs seem rather pointless. I feel sorry for the owner for a second 😂 I didn't take any photos during this experience because I didn't know what to document. Only this little black cat was very interesting. It wasn't shy at all, following people around the whole time. It had nice fur and loved being petted.
