"The breakfast must be good and close to the airport"

"This hotel is a strange one. It entirely lacks all amenities you would think a hotel needed to have. No bar, no common area downstairs to sit. A very understocked vending machine that only takes coins is the only thing on offer. It is miles from anywhere, there is nothing very close by, there is a small high street about 10-15 mins walk away. But the main issue I had was with the beds. I booked a double room, but the bed was two singles pushed together. They reminded me of the beds they had in dormitories on school trips. I realise that double beds that are one mattress are less common in germany, but the big problem is the beds were not connected together at all. The floor was hardwood, so the beds slide around like hockey pucks. You roll over in the middle of the night and you literally fall between the beds. The two beds slide apart and you are on the floor, tangled up in the duvet. This happened 2-3 times a night. I asked at reception if there was a way to resolve this, but the guy looked at me like I was totally insane to expect a bed that didnt separate and swallow you up at random points in the night. Add to this pillows that were so thick, you couldn't get comfortable, and loud ineffective air conditioning, and I ended up having the worst nights sleep ive had in years, several days in a row. I ended up checking out early and going to a different hotel. Munique - please figure out a way to attach the beds together. Please get some sofas or something down in the reception area. Please get a new vending machine that takes card and fill it up with some more stuff. Even better, put a bar in."

"This family run hotel has great staff and is comfortable, clean, excellent service with parking and right next to a train station 2 stops from Munich airport. It provides an excellent breakfast and the restaurant food is traditional German cuisine that is nicely made. It is a very convenient location for visiting Munich away from the city centre and excellent choice ."

"I stayed here with my partner for just one night, and it was perfectly fine for that. The hotel isn't really designed for longer stays. Everything was clean. Unfortunately, it was also quite noisy, and the windows (facing the inner courtyard) couldn't be opened. All in all, a solid hotel, especially for the price, and close to the airport."
