"Week from 16/9 to 23/9, resort with (as everyone is now writing) great potential but not well looked after. Garden space with a few more tables could be better used in the evening and also during the day. Alternate the evenings with something different and not always, even if the two singers are good. Make the all-inclusive more extensive (coffee and beer perhaps), keep the beach clean from the algae that gradually accumulate, offer some daily activities (beach volleyball or aperitif games for example). In short, given that the rooms are spacious and above all clean and that the catering is sufficient, it would just be a matter of organizing ourselves better to make this resort a diamond considering the spectacular beach and sea. It doesn't take much."

"Inside Erice, but on a side street, so it's quiet and free from the constant traffic. The property is well-structured, spread across two buildings, yet within walking distance of each other. The room I stayed in was large and fully equipped, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and Wi-Fi. Although it's not located in the main building, it does have a microwave and other amenities in the shared living room. Access to the room was from an internal courtyard (thus even quieter), where there's also a built-in clothesline, very convenient for drying beach clothes. I also noticed that other rooms have a shared kitchen, equipped with a refrigerator. Carmelo and Annamaria leave nothing to be desired; they are two extraordinary people, courteous, helpful, and attentive, as well as very friendly. The icing on the cake is the terrace where you can have breakfast or linger in the evening to enjoy the view (or sunset) over the Egadi Islands. A true gem in Erice."

Zibibbo Beach Apartments - Trapani ★★★

"Nightmare vacation? No, Zibibbo Beach Corso Dante Alighieri in Trapani. The fundamental premise: the vacation was booked at least a month and a half in advance. They knew we'd have a 10-month-old baby, including a crib, and they knew we'd be arriving at 10:30/11:00 AM, even though we knew we'd check in at 3:00 PM. A week before our arrival, I was told we could arrive and drop off our bags at reception. The day before, again via text message, I was told there was no reception because they were apartments (nothing wrong with that), but to leave our bags in the car park. So, after this thesis and antithesis, I felt a little confused and thought, "Oh well, they didn't communicate with each other! It can happen." We arrived on Friday, September 5, 2025, and were greeted by the cleaning lady, visibly tired and misunderstood. She had no indication whatsoever that there were four adults plus two children who needed a crib (in the introduction I had already indicated that this request had been made for a month). And so it goes, I think, they must not have communicated with each other here too.... The cleaning lady tells us that they still have to vacate our room because a couple with a German shepherd (who was in the room that would have been given to us, unfortunately) were being moved and she also couldn't understand such changes and why not give us the apartment already vacant. So, let's wait and go to the pool. It's 1980s, there are no deck chairs, just chairs, but let's overlook that too, we're on vacation.... We are given the room WITH AN IMPORTANT PRECLAIM, keep in mind "I left the room to air out so the bad smells go away and the floor dries faster"... we go in... HELL: The 10-month-old baby starts crawling and is covered in dog hair, turning his feet black. My socks are covered in dog hair. The apartment smells like wet dog. The 4-year-old sets down her suitcase and we smell animal urine. Desperate, we try to contact the appropriate authorities, especially because €390 for a two-night apartment with no extra amenities and a room carpeted in dog hair, stinking, causing my children to cough, and poor hygiene—that's NOT an option! I want to clarify that the fault absolutely isn't with the cleaner, who seemed to be a versatile person who can handle practically everything, but with the lack of equipment suitable for pet-friendly rooms. We contacted someone at the property and the only solution they found was "AN EXTRA CLEANING AT OUR EXPENSE." WHAAAAT??? No, maybe we'll pay for it too. We refused this offer because it wouldn't have changed the situation, as the apartment needed to be left open for at least three days to allow air circulation. After three hours of complaints on our part, they finally gave us our money back, also because we invited them to come to the apartment and smell the smell of wet dog. Devastated and desperate."

Located in a splendidly restored salt-works house overlooking an enchanting sea, this resort represents the perfect blend of beauty, tranquility, and authentic Sicilian hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism by Liliana at the front desk and by the entire staff: wonderful, kind, and always smiling. The attention to detail and genuine kindness of everyone who worked there made me feel truly at home. The room, immaculately clean and comfortable, retained the charm of the historic structure with all the modern comforts. I spent truly relaxing moments by the pool, immersed in the silence and beauty of the landscape, and the beach, meticulously maintained by Nicoló, was perfect for enjoying the sea in complete serenity. At the restaurant, every meal was a pleasure: the cuisine was excellent, with carefully prepared and flavorful dishes. Special thanks to Salvatore and Francesco, true masters of the dining room, who with professionalism and courtesy made every lunch and dinner a special experience. And then there's Enrico, the owner: a man with a big heart, always discreetly present and ready to make every guest feel pampered and welcome. I Mulini wasn't just a place to stay: it was a haven for the soul, where I found peace, beauty, and authenticity. Furthermore, the location is perfect for exploring the wonders of the Trapani area—from Erice to Trapani, from the salt pans to the Egadi Islands—all within easy reach. I recommend this place wholeheartedly, especially to those seeking a safe, welcoming, and rejuvenating retreat. An experience I will cherish forever."

"This B&B is located in the outskirts of Trapani and is very well connected to the city centre by bus. Walking distance is around 45min. Very close to the cable car to Erice. It is basic but spotless and the beds are comfortable. Modern bathroom and toiletries supplied. The shared kitchen was a plus as we were able to have breakfast when it suited us. Beautiful fresh croissants made to order by the owner’s son. The lady who owns the place is very welcoming and accommodating and very sweet. Only downside for us was that the walls are very thin and you can hear the other residents."

Stunning view from the balcony of the room. The breakfast was very varied and high quality, there was both savory and sweet. I would love to come back, it was a perfect day."
