Camere di Ulisse ★★★
"A well-located spot for exploring the city with a unique style. Access to the parking lot can be stressful due to the narrowness of the street leading to the hotel. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. The room was spacious and clean."
Resort I Mulini ★★★★
"An individual small hotel with a pool and beach. The hotel offers a varied breakfast and a good, varied dinner. A good choice for guests who want peace and relaxation. The staff is friendly and helpful."
L'Approdo di Angelino ★★★
"I arrived at this restaurant for a business dinner, unfortunately the weather wasn't the best, which didn't allow me to enjoy the sunset over the sea. Dinner was very filling with a great variety of food with some noteworthy dishes: couscous, octopus casserole and mozzarella with swordfish. The seafood risotto was notable. Small negative note: the music was kept too loud which didn't allow you to talk much. I'll be back"
Hotel Elimo ★★★
"Excellent location, very cosy hotel, restaurant with beautiful view."
Bella Vista b&b ★★★
"Inside Erice, but on a side street, then calm without the continuous passage of the tours. The structure is well articulated, on two palaces but a few steps of the room. The room where I stayed was large and equipped with everything, air conditioning, refrigeration and Wi-Fi. The room was accessible from a courtyard inside (so even more silent) where a wall-pain steel is also located, very comfortable to dry the sea stuff. I also saw that other rooms also have a common kitchen with a refrigerator. Carmelo and Annamaria do not miss anything; they are two extraordinary, courtesy, available and careful, and very sympathetic. The chilli on the cake, the terrace where you can breakfast or where you can stay at night to enjoy the view (or sunset) on the Egadi Islands."
Baia dei Mulini Resort & Spa ★★★★
"My Friend and I visited for two nights at the start of May, we were so impressed we have decided that we shall visit as an annual trip now. Our only regret was only staying for the two nights. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, the staff were friendly and helpful & the facility were great. It would seem we visited before the season in Trapani had started, which made the visit exceptionally peaceful and quiet. Although it seemed the hotel catered for children and families, there were only a few (I prefer adult only hotels). The hotel is located a short walk from the town approximately 20 minutes at a slow stroll. It was so nice to visit the town as it wasn’t touristy at all. Gave a real feel of how locals live day to day. The food we had at the hotel was excellent with plenty of choice, with top quality food served. Although the pool was still cold, too early in season it was nice to take a dip to cool after the sun. The massage was excellent at such a reasonable price don’t know why I only had one. I would recommend this as one of the top places I have stayed and as mentioned at the beginning we will be returning."
Hotel Venere di Erice Resort & Spa ★★★★
"We had higher expectations!!!!! We've been to this hotel a long time ago for a spa treatment... everything was perfect! Highly recommended! Now we're staying with family and we were passing through. They gave us the largest room, but it was very noisy, both because the double bed creaked all night with every movement and because the room faced the street and was close to reception. The biggest flaw? The restaurant menu remained unchanged... the same menu for both lunch and dinner for two days? Perhaps they should offer more choice... Ps: for what it's worth, the food was delicious!"
Il Carmine Dimora Storica ★★★
"First of all, our bed sheets had blood and other stains on them. On complaining they did not care. They had our money and the manager actually put the phone down on us. This hotel was not very nice at all. The hotel itself and the rooms are in very bad condition. Dirty and neglected. On walking up the stairs to the main corridor part of the ceiling had fallen down and nobody had cleaned it up. On arrival we had briefly seen the room and were asked to pay immediately. This was unusual in Sicily and the only time we were asked to pay upfront. On closer inspection of the room it was apparent it was in bad condition so we asked to leave. We were told by the man on reception that we could not have a refund and he would contact the police. After discovered the dirty sheets we went to reception to get some clean sheets but reception was closed and there was no one about. We slept on our own beach towels. The next morning we were at reception with our bags before it opened. The lady said she would ring the manager but said he would not care. He wasn’t interested at all."
Zibibbo Beach Apartments - Trapani ★★★
"Nightmare vacation? No, Zibibbo Beach Corso Dante Alighieri in Trapani. The fundamental premise: the vacation was booked at least a month and a half in advance. They knew we'd have a 10-month-old baby, including a crib, and they knew we'd be arriving at 10:30/11:00 AM, even though we knew we'd check in at 3:00 PM. A week before our arrival, I was told we could arrive and drop off our bags at reception. The day before, again via text message, I was told there was no reception because they were apartments (nothing wrong with that), but to leave our bags in the car park. So, after this thesis and antithesis, I felt a little confused and thought, "Oh well, they didn't communicate with each other! It can happen." We arrived on Friday, September 5, 2025, and were greeted by the cleaning lady, visibly tired and misunderstood. She had no indication whatsoever that there were four adults plus two children who needed a crib (in the introduction I had already indicated that this request had been made for a month). And so it goes, I think, they must not have communicated with each other here too.... The cleaning lady tells us that they still have to vacate our room because a couple with a German shepherd (who was in the room that would have been given to us, unfortunately) were being moved and she also couldn't understand such changes and why not give us the apartment already vacant. So, let's wait and go to the pool. It's 1980s, there are no deck chairs, just chairs, but let's overlook that too, we're on vacation.... We are given the room WITH AN IMPORTANT PRECLAIM, keep in mind "I left the room to air out so the bad smells go away and the floor dries faster"... we go in... HELL: The 10-month-old baby starts crawling and is covered in dog hair, turning his feet black. My socks are covered in dog hair. The apartment smells like wet dog. The 4-year-old sets down her suitcase and we smell animal urine. Desperate, we try to contact the appropriate authorities, especially because €390 for a two-night apartment with no extra amenities and a room carpeted in dog hair, stinking, causing my children to cough, and poor hygiene—that's NOT an option! I want to clarify that the fault absolutely isn't with the cleaner, who seemed to be a versatile person who can handle practically everything, but with the lack of equipment suitable for pet-friendly rooms. We contacted someone at the property and the only solution they found was "AN EXTRA CLEANING AT OUR EXPENSE." WHAAAAT??? No, maybe we'll pay for it too. We refused this offer because it wouldn't have changed the situation, as the apartment needed to be left open for at least three days to allow air circulation. After three hours of complaints on our part, they finally gave us our money back, also because we invited them to come to the apartment and smell the smell of wet dog. Devastated and desperate."
