Tui Magic Life Fuerteventura - All Inclusive

Lovely holiday but hotel just not up to its 4 star rating. Pool had tiles coming off which cut the children’s feet. Towels in the rooms were threadbare and tatty. Food was good quality but lacked variety. Could only book a la carters 48 hours in advance and Italian was still buffet. Staff were rude and unhelpful. Lovely time with family but would not recommend or revisit.

Cleaning incredibly poor! Found dirty underwear under sofa bed where my kids were sleeping. Bathroom not cleaned everyday, only bin removed. Bedsheet not changed throughout the whole week stay and worse part was receiving a beer in the restaurant with a cockroach (live!!) on it!! Drain in bathroom really bad so had to have quick shower otherwise would flood and sink would be full for ages u too all water went down. Food not great and one day had a really off scrambled egg which worried me of getting ill as was properly off! Activities are good with nice gym classes, kids club also nice but overall hotel very tired with loads of tiles from swimming pool coming out or missing. Food in pool bar quite bad with one day having sandwich as lunch option. Would not recommend unless a really cheap package which was not our case!

We have just returned from a marvellous 10 day holiday everything was excellent the food the staff and the location but unfortunately couldn’t book the speciality restaurants does anyone have any tips as we are looking to visit again in October

Have just returned from our first family holiday in Fuerteventura and decided after much debate to choose magic life as our accommodation. An honest review as follows; Pros: 1. Hotel is, for the most, clean and the grounds maintained. 2. Beach is beautiful. Sea is lovely and blue. It is a windy area so the sea is quite wavy, it’s not one you can really swim too far out in or snorkel etc. 3. Beach/lounger towels included so no need to bring any, they provide as many as you require and you can change them daily at the on site shop. 4. There’s an on site laundry room with self service machines but this is chargeable - €5 to wash then another €4 to dry. Also an iron if you ask staff at reception and they drop one off to your room. 5. There appears to be plenty of activities but we didn’t go for this (biking, gym, exercise classes etc) 6. Plenty of sun loungers - although it states no towel reserving it was done by a lot of people. Our room overlooked the pool and you’d see people putting towels on the best beds at 6/7am then wandering off. There are “premium” loungers which look identical but in a fancier area with a bit of shade etc and these start from €20 per person per day. 7. If you arrive late they will arrange food for you but it will be cold leftovers from dinner. We tried to eat what we could just to fill ourselves for the evening as we hadn’t eaten for around 12 hours. Cons 1. Rooms are a bit dated and in need of TLC. Few of the floor tiles in our room were loose when you stood on them, walls a bit grubby. My partner and I had 2 single beds on wheels pushed together. Bedding was quite tatty (was an old bobbled blanket with a white cover on it) and the pillows were a bit lumpy. I don’t think they are cleaned to the best standard either. The bathroom in particular constantly smelled damp/dirty. 2. Bedding was not changed until I had to go and ask (twice) at reception. They didn’t change it on my first request so I had to go and ask again the next day. 3. Pools are cold. They do warm up in the afternoon from the sun but the sea was always warmer. As others mentioned there are tiles missing and parts of it look a bit tatty. 4. The entertainment on an evening isn’t great. One night was a lady singing old dated songs, then there’s a DJ playing music. Main bar is quieter, lady brings round board games for people and there’s a few pool tables but you have to pay for these. There’s a tv with some tables and chairs too. 5. Some of the staff are quite abrupt/rude. We thought we’d lost a pair of headphones, my son went to ask at one of the bars and one of the male members of staff brushed him away with his hand and was extremely rude. A lot of the staff seem to be quite miserable. If you lose anything don’t hold hope for finding it as a lot of the staff are really unhelpful and just say “no” if you try to explain you’ve lost something. There should be a lost property room or a main point of return for anything handed in. I was at the beach all

We went as a family of 3, returned last week (7 year old daughter) and we absolutely loved it. There is something to do for everyone, friendly staff and amazing large rooms. The beach is great ‍♂️ and in the resort they had lots of activities during the day. Very happy to see how kind the staff are and looking after the stray cats are very healthy and cute. The only negative is the pool, as many tiles are out and there were many people who had cuts and scratches from the pool but I don't put all the blame on the hotel, as I've seen kids who dive and intentionally remove these tiles to play with. Was frustrating as parents didn't seem to care and say to them that was wrong thing to do... Overall highly recommend (Don't pay to much attention to the bad reviews as some people have different experiences)

An absolutely fabulous week! I don't have any complaints! I had read a few reviews regarding queues and tiles...sure a few tiles are missing, which I mainly noticed in the sports pool, but this was not a big deal. As for queues for dinner, this helps people get seated appropriately so that for example groups of three aren't taking up a table for 6 fir example. They find the appropriate table for your group and seat you. Food queues. Minor. Each and every member of staff that we interacted with or saw, were brilliant. Kind, smiley and helpful. The grounds are kept really well. The activities are fabulous. The bars were great and the food was great. I read a few reviews suggesting taking your own cups!? I did, I didn't use then once. No need. The plaza bar serves beer in pint glasses! The pool bar has smaller cups, but this wss no issue at all. The gym was the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel abroad! The fitness area was great too, great instructors and kit. We have been to Jandia a few times and I'd say this hotel has a bit if everything and is just fabulous. I'd re book in a heartbeat. The only tiny tiny minor temporary Irritation - if I can even call it that, was thaat the block we were in wasn't obvious, and the sign a bit hidden! So we were wandering around initially for a while. I felt more obvious sign for thst block ( 14 ) would be better because you have to walk around the pool to the block,and it's easy to miss that sign!! However, once you've found it it's done and youre never wondering or wandering again! Also towels, the exchange hut wasn't obviously signed either! FYI its at the back of the shop! Rather than a towel hut. Again once you knew, you knew! A fab week and I'm already looking forward to the next time. Sad to leave Thank you Magic Life. An amazing week.
