"We are two elderly people who are traveling to Nice on our own. We like Eze so we choose to stay in Eze for one night. We also like the Castle Hotel. It has a good location and the rooms are well decorated. The customer service is good. They upgraded us to a room with a balcony and let us enter the room to rest in advance. After arriving early, we were given a welcome drink and rested on the balcony overlooking the sea. The only thing we are not satisfied with is the breakfast. It is a set meal. The 35-euro set meal is also very small and the content is very small. Even the bread is 3 mini breads. It is not enough to eat. If the breakfast can be improved, it will be perfect. It would be better if they can actively remind us of the key points of the town of Eze and give us a map introduction."

From the moment you enter the property through locked gates down a winding driveway to reveal the courtyard and entrance you are captivated. This is the epitome of beauty on the French Riviera. The hotel is outstanding. The grounds are outstanding. The indoor and outdoor pools suit all weather. The spa and exercise rooms all view the ocean. Our suite was set directly on the cliff - with the sound of the ocean from the balcony and views of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat in the distance. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. "The most amazing hotel of this trip: located on the cliff of Mount Eze, with free parking in the courtyard. The hotel is decorated in a modern style, with a blue and white tone that fully reflects the Mediterranean style. The restaurant has a panoramic view of the mountains and the sea. The breakfast is very rich. You can order dinner and there is also a set menu (60 per person for three courses). The hotel has an infinity pool, a spa (I didn't go in because of time rush), a tennis court and a yoga room (under construction). In short, the scenery is beautiful! Although the price is a little expensive, it is worth it! There is also a Fragonard perfume factory store nearby, which you can also visit."

"First-rate scenery, third-rate facilities, fifth-rate service, and charges above 6-star. We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, and we even had dinner at the hotel's 2-star Michelin restaurant on one of the nights. The room facilities are of a higher standard than those of chain hotels. I suggest you not to eat breakfast because it only has bread, and the variety is the least and the quality is the most ordinary among all the luxury hotels I've been to. As for the 2-star Michelin restaurant, you can give it a try if you want to experience it and take photos. As for the taste, I suggest you don't expect too much. The soft service I care about most is hygiene. It's scary. The bathroom sink is not wiped, and they basically re-laid the wool machine. Even the door can be closed. "My husband and I visited Cap Estel for the second time, since we fell in love with it the first time. The pandemic delayed the second visit a couple of years, but now we managed to return! In addition, my brother and his wife joined again. Cap Estel is an amazing place in a beautiful setting. The staff is very friendly and professional, making us feel at home. They have the rare quality to be discreet yet attentive. We had a wonderful week! The very high quality of the breakfast, sitting outside with a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean (don’t miss the fantastic fresh fruit!), makes it the best we experienced ever. As last time, we had dinner in the restaurant La Table de Patrick Raingeard and the menu was delicious. The pool area and the large garden are great places to linger. The ambience of the hotel is relaxing and makes you never want to leave. We definitely prefer to travel fewer times and stay at Cap Estel, than to travel more frequently and stay at a standard hotel. A special thank you to the General Manager Eric Paulus who made our stay into a royal experience. And a big thank you to the fantastic staff! It is Heaven on Earth and we hope to come back soon. In the meantime, we keep on reading the book about Cap Estel and its history."
