The room is big enough and comfortable. The shower water is super good. There is free bottled water. The bathroom supplies are also pretty good. I don't have a toothbrush or toothpaste, so I thought I'd bring my own... There are many breakfast varieties, but overall I think the price is a bit high. Of course, the room rate is also relatively expensive. The location of the hotel is really good and it is convenient to go everywhere. I won't stay here next time. Just experience it once. đđ
Hotel service is very good, room service is always responsive, and the attitude is warm, because the anniversary of the hotel also presented champagne. Macarons are given every night. However, I returned to the hotel on the first night and found that the room had not been cleaned. I communicated with the hotel to confirm that this situation did not occur again after daily cleaning.

The hotel locates at a very excellent location. Many main attraction points around it. The restaurant for breakfast buffet has a very good view.
ALL the staff of the front desk is very helpful and nice.
I arrive on the morning and they help to check the availability of the room. They allow the customer to have early check in early when the availability of the room is OK.
Everything of the hotel is good. I recommend other people to stay at this hotel when they come to Budapest.
I will stay again in Hilton Budapest when I visit there again.

We stayed in this hotel for one week. First of all the worker in reception made a stupid comment how my boyfried looked in his passport.. Is it your job to comment how the quests look like? So rude. When we booked our room we had seperate beds because I am very light sleeper.. then we needed one extra night and they chanced the room type without even asking what kind of bed/beds we want.. So of course we got double bed which was really narrow! If you want to sleep well I recommend to take two single beds! I didn't sleep well at all during this whole week. Also the pillows were awful so I had to use towel as a pillow every night. Our room was in 6th floor and it was facing towards courtyard so at least it was quiet. Some of the cleaners didn't wish good morning and one of the cleaners had phone on her hand and she was listening music around 9am.. I mean really? I don't know how well they are suppose to clean the rooms but I think only thing got done was that they only changed the towels every day. Good things: Air conditioner worked really well! There was minifridge which is one of the things I check when I look for a hotel. We liked the seperate wc, you don't see that in hotels anymore that much. There were some really good restaurants nearby, lots of shops and metro station. Breakfast was also good and there was enough space to eat every morning. I wish there would have been more something fresh to eat, I think there were way too much different kind of pastries. I would probably stay in other hotel if I come back to Budapest. Room was nothing like in those pictures and that comment in reception was not nice at all.

Location: It's a very convenient location to go anywhere. It's across from the Opera House.
Service: All the staff are friendly, and the breakfast quality is good.
Facilities: Since it's just opened, all the facilities are perfect.
The room size was also good.
I especially liked the bed. (I personally prefer a hard bed rather than a soft one.)
There are plenty of food options nearby, and there's a mart nearby.
I highly recommend it.
Every morning was enjoyable thanks to the friendly service of a person with a nose piercing on his head. I don't know his name, but he was the best hotelier I've ever met. I've experienced many hotels due to my numerous overseas business trips and trips, but his service was truly the best. He was very professional, working very diligently and taking good care of the guests' needs. I was very grateful to the person with a nose piercing on his head. I'll definitely come and see you next time I come to Budapest. I was sad that I had to leave without saying hello.

Nice hotel is central location. Staff well trained and seemed to truely want to make your stay a positive one. As an example, we needed taxi service several times and always could count on getting one exactly as needed. A few issues: -You can only regulate the cooling by up to 3 degrees, likely reasonable most days but we experienced one of the hottest days in Budapest's history this past week. A hot day/evening with the heavy comforters on all beds does not make for a good night's sleep. -The shower is raised by about 4 inches over the bathroom floor so anyone with a troublesome back, will have an issue stepping down from the slippery shower. -The breakfast was OK, not up to the standards that Kempinsky publicizes is their goal.

Hospitality at this hotel is pretty much non-existent, especially for what I'd expect of a Novotel. It starts with having no doorman. You'll see this a few times in others comments. They give you one water bottle in your room. Don't expect them to replace it throughout your stay though. That'd be a lot to ask. Room service? I'm not sure if they cleaned the rooms during our stay. They did make the beds. That's about all. When I asked where I might find water, I was rudely directed to purchase a bottle from the restaurant. This is unheard of to me. Filtered water should always be freely provided. The breakfast was also quite mediocre. Huge lineup for coffee, no brewed coffee, which would be quicker to serve. Staff not around. For the price, the breakfast is certainly not worth it. Not a great experience. I won't be returning.

We stay here when on business in Budapest, and usually don't have problems but staying in 315 recently we were put next to people having a party in 317, it was really noisy, some kind of last night in Budapest flight crew thing. Why would you put business people next to party people? It just made no sense. We got moved for the night to a quieter suite on same floor, 323, which was great but the next day the front desk âmiscommunicatedâ us to the breakfast area to collect our breakfast boxes. Its puzzling. Overall the staff are super friendly and things usually go without a hitch and on that basis I would recommend. I really hope standards aren't slipping as it would be a shame.

Matild Palace welcomes guests with a distinctive ambiance representative of its Hungarian heritage which runs beautifully through its core and is unmistakable from the moment you step in through the front doors.Built during the Belle Epoque era in 1902, the palace was developed under the patronage of Her Imperial and Royal Highness Maria Klotild of Saxe Coburg and Gotha to serve as the social hub of Budapest.
