"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."

"The location is excellent. Walking to everything! The room is all stylish, but not all functional. For a couple of nights sleep will fit, and it is better for one, because things are laying nowhere. 4 shoulders, and all... shelves or closet aren't. No and the tug. Nowhere in the building...)))) The air conditioner is, but even at 18 degrees it doesn't cool. It was hot. The windows are not open as the morning is a rumble of garbage, and the open windows haven't saved. They are in the yard, no air traffic. But the loudest thing is the cleaner of the cart on the floor with a tile, pulling it out of the elevator so that you jump in the room. The metal thunder on the cafe... The thunder bottles in the garbage... In general, it is exactly not a place for sleep. Also, the hotel does not provide him with information that he agreed to move with you to another room and a late check-out... to me the cleaner came twice. The second time I was in the shower and very scared. I have no room for settlement on the code castle so far... The smell of food and the sounds of life of all people will be brought from the balcony as it is a yard with a residential house where residents are living their usual life. In general, the impressions are extremely controversial. The aesthetics of the building, yes, but not comfort."

"The hotel is not 580 meters away from Graz Hbf train station as written in the description, but 2.2 kilometers away, which takes 30 minutes to walk. However, the hotel is in a good location, with a little slope on the hillside of the old city, but it is not stressful. The hotel passage leads directly to the municipal park, which is very convenient and beautiful. The room cleaning is stipulated to be at 3 pm or later, and I rarely encounter such service. Because I went out in the morning, it was just right to rest in the afternoon, and then watch the night view at night, so for me it meant no service. Only when I was in the room, I quickly changed towels in the bathroom, collected garbage bags and gave a bottle of water. As for the Internet speed, let's put it this way, it is better than nothing. The hotel wifi needs to open the door of the room to open a crack or simply be in the corridor to be full and faster. 4G needs to open the window to be stronger (but it is very cold and I can't open the window). "The room matched the photo, but... The bathroom door kept collecting towels on the floor, and overall, it was very cramped. The air conditioning didn't work/cool the room even at 18 degrees. There wasn't a hanger! There was nowhere to hang clothes at all. Only on the backs of chairs. There was no iron or ironing board on the floor, in the basement, or in the room, and this is the highest category. There was a small closet with shelves and drawers. There were curtain rods, but no curtains. There were external blinds, but you have to be sure they're there because the staff in the chat didn't know about them and said they'd come and hang them up. And they'd replace the pillowcase with the yellow stain. Do you think that happened?! Of course not...! And the most epic thing is that in one day, three people entered my room without asking (twice by the cleaner and once by other guests). They had a booking confirmation for the same room and a different door code (they have combination locks) that opened the door to my room. Then the argument began over the phone and in chat (there's no reception in the building). They tried to move me to a room of a lower category (without a kitchen) and blocked access to the room by changing the information in the app. I had to spend a lot of time, effort, and nerves trying to get into the room assigned to me with my belongings. One of the operators hung up on me when I refused to pack my things, move back to a lower category room, and wait until the next day for a special team to investigate the incident. They didn't respond at all in chat… it was a technical error by the hotel, and they didn't even apologize! Only upon checkout did I receive an email saying they were sorry and… were waiting for me again! Thank you, no thanks…"
