"A lovely 4 night stay. Excellent hosts Tomas, Christophe and their friend Chantale made us very welcome. Bedroom warm and bed, bedding, towels and shower all top class. Breakfast a great selection and dinner high quality. Would like to stay again when weather better to enjoy the refurbished outside areas and the pool, and dine on the terrace under the trees. Many lovely towns and villages to visit within 30 minutes including Grignan on the doorstep and all in lovely countryside."

"Unfriendly hostess. Lamentable breakfast (day-old bread, slices of industrial brioche and questionable fruit juice, only the jams were good). Outdated room (tiled floor, tiny bathroom, shower with no pressure). I was cold when I unfolded the blanket; it had certainly never been washed. A shame because it is a very pretty building outside Grignan with a lot of untapped potential."

"The most amazing experience, beautiful hotel with lovely French decor and wonderful staff. We stayed in the main house over looking the garden. We were even provided complimentary coffee and croissants when leaving as we didn’t have time for breakfast. Dinner in the bistro was superb. Highly recommend"

"Beautiful setting and charming experience! Multiple garden and patio dining options, beautiful lawn under the shadow of a castle. Super convenient to town but quiet and private. Rooms were neat and clean and bed comfy. Excellent air conditioning! Breakfast delightful. Staff very friendly. The pool was a dream oasis. Good for kids. Excellent choice!"

"I'm writing a review for the sister property, Le Jardin Secret, that has the same owners. They were exceptional hosts, and with their level of care for their guests I am sure La Vie de Chateau is just as amazing. They were attentive to every detail, answering every question, making recommendations, booking reservations for us, even driving us to a restaurant! When I mentioned the pillow was too thick for me, they bought me another pillow! Each day they provided a wonderful breakfast. Most of all they are so warm and kind. The property itself was immaculate and has its own garden and pool. Staying there was our favorite part of our trip to France. Grignan is a quiet, charming village surrounded by lavender fields and with delicious restaurants and is very worth a visit. La Vie de Chateau hotel is at a great location steps from the Chateau de Grignan so I'm sure a stay there is just as wonderful!"
