"Top service, friendly staff who were always helpful. Greenest golf links with plenty of tree cover. Excellent food in the Oak Room restaurant. Brilliant spa with good range of massage and other treatments - outdoor non-heated "swim pond" and huge indoor/outdoor hot tub. Loved the stay and will definitely go back!"

"Located in an industrial area out of town, but with easy access to the motorway network. Lots of parking around the building. Reception was luke warm and unsmiling and insisted on charging me 15 pounds for having the audacity to want to check in before 3pm. Room was adequate, bed comfy enough but very poor pillows (no pillow protectors or under cases) and only 2 of them. Heating worked OK as did the TV. The room was clean enough but not sparkling. I will stick with Holiday Inn Express next time."

"We had a lovely stay. The room was clean and comfy. There was no AC, but the electric fan worked fine. The breakfast had a small buffet and various a la carte options. We tried the full English and Eggs Royale - both were absolutely delicious. The gym was also great - spacious and well appointed. Staff were lovely. We would definitely stay there again."

"Stayed here overnight due to business meetings in the area. Beautiful hotel and surroundings, very tranquil and peaceful. I enjoyed a good nights sleep in the quiet room in the attic. Dinner was so tasty that I almost couldn’t manage my breakfast the next morning which was also delicious! Polite and friendly staff too. Will definitely stay again when I’m next in the area."
