"The rooms were very nice and clean. There's a very large parking lot with plenty of spaces, and parking is free. It's very convenient for people with cars. There's a P+R train station about 3 kilometers from the hotel, making it easy to take the train to Amsterdam. Parking is also free, which is fantastic! Staying here and taking the train to Amsterdam is an excellent choice."

"My sister and her partner stayed at the hotel on December 13th and 14th as a gift. The hotel is in a fantastic location, and it's great that they have parking where you can reserve a spot, even though I find the price for it quite expensive for a hotel guest. The room was clean and perfectly fine for a weekend in Haarlem. What was really disappointing was that the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night, and there was no clear communication about what was happening, nor was there anyone to conduct a check. When checking out the next day, nothing more was said about it... whereas I would have considered it quite normal to at least receive an apology for the inconvenience. They were already asleep and were certainly in uncertainty for about an hour. This was quite a contrast to the email and phone contact I had with the front desk beforehand, which I found to be very pleasant."

"Such a great b & b. The location couldn't be better. Very easy access to all the interesting sites. Henk and Annmarie are so friendly and helpful. They couldn't do enough for you. The rooms are great and equipped with everything you need. The breakfasts are delicious. All in all, if you're going to Haarlem (and you should), just book with the Malts. You won't be disappointed."
