Das alte Kloster ist innen ein sehr schönes, großzügiges Gebäude. Die Zimmer sind gut im alte Kloster integriert, sehr sauber und erstaunlich groß. Im Restaurant haben wir ebenfalls sehr gut gespeist. Die Bedienung und der Empfang waren überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend. Am Empfang erhielten wir auch gute Tipps für Ausflüge.

The bed was super comfy and I slept like a baby. As the hotel was previously a monastery perhaps I was visited by nuns during my sleep. LOL. The morning breakfast was plentiful and delicious, everything was fresh and there was a huge selection. The only minus (and this is nothing to do with the hotel) is the town itself. In January it was completely deserted and nothing was opened.

Also leider ist ja Hainburg nicht wirklich mit Hotels gesegnet, also haben wir uns nach einer Hochzeit dort mit einer grösseren Gruppe einquartiert. Schon die Reservierung war eine Odyssee, trotz mehrmaligem schreiben und telefonieren wurde uns immer wieder gesagt, dass es keine Reservierung gibt, wieder angerufen, wieder bestätigt…zwei Tage später konnte sich wieder keiner an eine Reservierung erinnern. Die Zimmer sind nicht sauber, abgewohnt und nicht gewartet, in der Dusche blättert überall was ab, Verschlüsse fehlen…gar nicht nett. Frühstück bemüht aber der Kaffe schmeckt wie Abwaschwasser… Leider sehr mangelhaft!!!

This hotel was lovely in the town. A good location, nice decor and overall very clean. I didn’t like the shower open into the bedroom even though there was a small screen as sharing with a friend made it a little awkward, however, it wouldn’t put me off staying here again if I was ever back in Hainburg.

Very nice hotel in an old convent. Restaurant/bar on site as well as a wellness area with sauna, steam room, infrared room, and lounge chairs. Very relaxing. Breakfast wasn't included in room price but the large buffet was worth the Euro 13 cost. Didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening as there was a 40 minute wait. Bar had a nice selection of Austrian wines. Lots of hiking options in town, up the hill to castle ruins, and along the Danube. There were also other restaurants open in town in spite of it being Easter weekend. Old Roman ruins can also be visited in nearby Carnuntum/Petronell.

Hotel located in a huge monastery. Very beautiful, simple, modern, comfortable, clean and perfectly silent setting. Also convenient is the large parking lot in front of the building. Breakfast, not included, seemed a little expensive to us, but it was good quality and generous. The restaurant offers good food, nothing more. It is very easy to reach Bratislava by 15" bus, direct line nearby.

Was nice Really tasty restaurant We spend a night there and was like we plan. Was only miss sleepers and fridge was not working But for one night it was ok. View on danube from the room, staff lovely Parking free near the hotel Was during winter and rooms was hot enought.

Walking into the hotel, it looks like nothing special, but as soon as you get up to your floor you'll see how the ceiling opens up. Our room was huge, with a window that had a slight view if the river. The room did get a hit warm, but keeping the window open helped that issue. One weird thing is how the toilet is located in the complete opposite side of the sink, so you always had to walk around in order to wash your hands. The restaurant was ok, nothing too crazy. The front desk staff were super nice and friendly, meanwhile the restaurant staff seemed to not want to be there at all.

We were able to book the hotel for little money. Room ok, beds a little saggy, but still ok. Shower and sink in the middle of the room, took some getting used to. Rooms are not air-conditioned, which is a problem given the temperatures, since there is no possibility for a draft. Food in the restaurant very good. breakfast ok
