"We were in the Mark Catesby room. The bed was comfortable, the towels were of good quality and the food was good. However we were very disappointed with the accommodation. The room was dark and the only natural light came from the French doors which opened out to the car park at the back of the building. The carpet was ruched and I’ll fitting in parts, the bathroom was in need of updating and there were no surfaces to put toiletries. Little attention was given to the little things that make your stay comfortable. The accommodation was not of the standard we expected for the price. We were never asked whether we enjoyed our stay. Says it all."
