Wonderful service and friendly staff. Very peaceful , family favorite part was the breakfast and the multiple options was cold and hot.

This hotel was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable. We needed to be back on the road before breakfast was ready and the awesome staff made sure some of the hot items were ready before we left. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

A friend & I were in Hampton Iowa for a visit and I booked a room here. There aren’t many choices in Hampton, but I was definitely pleased with the AmericInn. The place appears a bit dated on the outside, but the rooms are clean, quiet and well equipped. The beds were comfy and my friend and I both slept very well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a decent variety of the typical hotel options. Overall, I would say you can’t go wrong here. The price was great too by 2024 standards. I’m a bit of a hotel snob, so trust me when I say, this is high praise. I’d definitely stay there again, should I need to travel to Hampton.

The staff is always very friendly and helpful. in the evening we love to gather in their cozy lobby in front of the fireplace to visit with other family members. We always stay here when we are in the area.

Really a nice hotel that is clean and comfortable. Didn’t use the pool but it looked clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Well decorated for the season! Breakfast was good by free hotel standards. Recommend this hotel if you are staying or passing through Hampton.

People that work there are really nice and helpful. The room needs updated. Room had musty smell. Had to keep room really cold to keep the smell down. Carpet are a little old as well. Just needs updated

Uncomfortable beds and pillows. broken outlets. Rude housekeeping. Definitely would not stay here again. The bed and pillows were the worst. Pool was super cold. Breakfast was boring n not much provided

I just had a really wonderful experience at the American enhampton. I write commentary regarding properties for a living and it is rare that I provide an unselicited review of a property or of a property that I've not actually stayed at. I had an interesting situation occurred today and that I needed to print out one quick document but I couldn't find any places such as libraries that were open. I stopped at this American and explain to the front desk clerk that I was a Wyndham diamond member and asked if it would be too much trouble if I just printed out a single document at their business center. She was extremely friendly and accommodating and said of course that that would be no problem. They had a great setup right next to the front desk with a desk a printer and a computer available For my use. The lobby was extremely inviting with a wonderful fireplace it was well decorated the breakfast area was lovely and everything seemed to be just like I was being invited into someone's home. The front desk clerk was friendly and accommodating and knew the meaning of Customer service. Thank you for doing such a great job it was truly appreciated.

Was stranded during a snow storm. The manager and workers went above and behind to help everyone stranded. Even let people stay in lobby when there were no rooms left. Would stay here again. Very thankful for the friendly staff.
