"Gerry made us feel welcome the moment we walked up to the desk his positive attitude smile, and kindness was exceptional. Often, sadly front desk employees can be less than chipper. That was certainly not the case with  Gerry!  We laughed and told stories and honestly  I wanted to hang with him at the desk and chat. He is one fine employee.  I hope you can keep him!  We will be back!"

"The Sands is a decent place to stay. A few items that lowered my scores were: very thin towels, the gym not opening until 9am, need room darkening blinds to block out the pay-for-parking lot lights, and the place is a bit dated/musty smelling, especially in the stairs and hallways. Service was nice and it was pretty quiet, but it was during off season. Overall, it was a good stay!"
