The guards not only guard it diligently, but also develop it into a base for Great Wall education, exhibition, cultural relics protection and research with the public welfare enthusiasts of the Great Wall. He explained in detail the origin of the Great Wall, the history of the Ming Dynasty, the fortress barrier of the Wuzi Great Wall, and the beacon fire of the Great Wall during the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. Then he looked up at the Great Wall gun tower outside the window, and the history came to life. It is so meaningful to bring children to live here. You can also watch the stars at night, and it is also great to play in the water for dozens of kilometers along the line in summer! ! The internal facilities of the room need to be further improved, but the environment and atmosphere are really perfect! !

PPauOHanlonI believe my friends and I spent Christmas eve here. Being an exchange student from England, far from home, and my friends and classmates from Latvia and Cambodia, we needed somewhere homely and comfortable to stay. This place was exactly what we needed.
We stayed here for one night in the middle of winter as part of our road trip from Beijing to Wutaishan, following the sections of the Great Wall. We turned up after dark, we were welcomed with a big smile and slept with ease after the long drive.
In the morning I woke up early, found a spot in the courtyard garden and opened my Christmass cards. The owners dog immediately rolled over to be petted and for the next hour I had good company, drank tea and enjoyed the peace.
The owners awoke to find me outside, probably thought I was a ****** and so, immediately lit their fire in the garden. They saw me drinking tea so got the iron kettle boiling over the heat of the flames. My mates awoke to this and joined me and the boss by the fire. The outside temperature was negative, but we were warm, happy and ready for the day ahead - exploring Baishishan. The boss also showed us his great tea collection.
I want to thank the owners for a short but great stay and I highly recommend. I would like to come back in spring to see their courtyard in full bloom.

KkeymistressThere are many hotels and B&Bs here, but after considering the price, room design and conditions, I finally chose Yeyouyun. Although it is a little expensive, the room design and location did not disappoint me. The room is very clean and well-equipped (electric mosquito coils, bath towels, toiletries...), and you can see the owner's care. The shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are all very fragrant. The bed is also very comfortable, the beds are of good quality, they are high threadcount, and you can sleep very well. The design of the hotel is the same as the official photos, so you can rest assured. There is also a cafe/bookstore nearby. The proprietress and the waiters are very friendly, and there is also a little dog that is so cute. A very satisfying experience!
