I usually don't like to write reviews when I go out, but this time I rarely write one. I was touched by the boss and the boss's wife. My child accidentally bit his mouth while eating snacks, and the boss was afraid that we tourists were not familiar with the place, so he went to buy medicine for me in person. He didn't know where he was halfway, but he greeted us from a distance. The children's room is not small, and there are many things for children to play with. I think it's no problem for three or four people to stay. I don't know if it's the boss's skill or the boss's wife's, but I was really surprised. It was eaten up before I had time to take pictures. I ordered some specialties. It was the first time to eat fried pepper sprouts. It was amazing without seasoning. There is nothing to say about the price or service. The boss is very down-to-earth. I will choose it next time.

The guesthouse was great. The owner made a point of keeping an eye out for the exit from the highway tunnel near Beijing, which is very easy to miss. I believe my friends and I spent Christmas eve here. Being an exchange student from England, far from home, and my friends and classmates from Latvia and Cambodia, we needed somewhere homely and comfortable to stay. This place was exactly what we needed. We stayed here for one night in the middle of winter as part of our road trip from Beijing to Wutaishan, following the sections of the Great Wall. We turned up after dark, we were welcomed with a big smile and slept with ease after the long drive. In the morning I woke up early, found a spot in the courtyard garden and opened my Christmass cards. The owners dog immediately rolled over to be petted and for the next hour I had good company, drank tea and enjoyed the peace. The owners awoke to find me outside, probably thought I was a ****** and so, immediately lit their fire in the garden. They saw me drinking tea so got the iron kettle boiling over the heat of the flames. My mates awoke to this and joined me and the boss by the fire. The outside temperature was negative, but we were warm, happy and ready for the day ahead - exploring Baishishan. The boss also showed us his great tea collection. I want to thank the owners for a short but great stay and I highly recommend. I would like to come back in spring to see their courtyard in full bloom.

It was not crowded when I went there. The boss was very nice and took the initiative to upgrade the room. The room was clean and well designed. Parking was not very convenient and had to be parked on the side of the road.
