Solo traveller from Malaysia🇲🇾. The guesthouse is in crowded area, chungking mansion. Room is clean, comfortable and small as expected. Have a small pantry outside to reheat food and make coffee. Owner and staffs, friendly and helpful . Recommended if you’re on tight budget

The service was excellent. We got a room upgrade and were very happy with that. The original room we booked was quite small. You are in the middle of the city without being bothered by noise.

The price-performance ratio is very high. The price for this location is unbeatable. The boss seems to be Indian and very nice. Chungking Mansions doesn't seem to be as scary as what is said online. It's okay.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. It wasn't big but that was expected in Hong Kong. We would like to mention that 200 HKD will be charged if you arrive later than midnight. We think this should be properly written in the Trip.com page, since the booking was not refundable. We ended up paying more for that extra fee than per night.

First of all, the location is very good because it is in the center of Hong Kong.
However.... the hotel condition is really the worst. In fact, it is not even a hotel. If you are a man traveling alone, absolutely, absolutely do not come here with your lover or wife.
The room is very cramped. There is just one bed and literally no space to open your suitcase without exaggeration. The room condition is really bad. There is practically no air conditioning. The bathroom is full when one person enters, the sink handle is broken, and there are bed bugs.
I really felt sorry for my girlfriend, so I paid for a week, but I got the room back in one day. They didn't even give me a refund. I absolutely do not recommend this place. On top of that, the entrance to this place is really scary because there are scary-looking Indian and black men staring at you.
That's why I was so depressed on my first day in Hong Kong because of the place. It was so bad that when we left the place, we talked to ourselves that it was livable. Never come here with a couple. We are a college student couple with no money, but this was not it. Just go to a 3-star hotel that costs about 100,000 won per day. The 100,000 won room is cramped, but it feels like it's well managed. We changed to an 800,000 won room for a week and our trip changed 360 degrees.
I really, really, really don't recommend it.

Chongqing Mansion is indeed crowded with people, especially Indians, and it feels unsafe. There were cockroaches in the shampoo, so I didn't dare to use it. One of the sheets was wet, caused by water drops on the air-conditioning wall. The bed was itchy when I slept, so I had to make do with it... The front desk was also Indian
