Hotels in North Point and Quarry Bay, Hong Kong

A Short Stay at iclub Fortress Hill Hotel First time in Fortress Hill, Hong Kong, and choosing iclub Hotel was definitely the right call! It's just a 5-minute walk from the MTR station, so even with luggage, you don't have to go out of your way – super friendly for travelers with big bags. Check-in was very efficient, and the front desk even thoughtfully provided a local map, marking nearby cha chaan tengs and convenience stores. The attention to detail was amazing. Though the room wasn't huge, it was cleverly laid out, with a clear separation for the desk, wardrobe, and bathroom. The small sofa by the window offered a perfect view of the street, and seeing the neon lights twinkle at night felt very 'Hong Kong'. The most pleasant surprise was the hotel's location. It's a 10-minute walk to Tin Hau Temple, and just around the corner downstairs is an old-school wonton noodle shop. In the morning, you can even visit the nearby wet market to experience local life. On my second day, I had an early flight, and the front desk helped pre-book a taxi, which took all the stress away. My short two-night stay was hassle-free, from the convenient transportation to the thoughtful service. Next time I'm in Hong Kong exploring the Eastern District, I'll definitely choose this place again!

The room isn't huge, but the layout is surprisingly well-thought-out. The staff are also really nice; they'll guide you on where to go, saving you a lot of time and hassle. Breakfast was decent too. Every staff member goes beyond just superficial service, which I really appreciated. For this price, getting a sea-view room (not a full panoramic view, but good enough!) makes it absolutely great value for money.

Service: I booked a deluxe sea-view room and requested a non-smoking, high-floor room away from the elevator. I checked in at 11 AM, and the official check-in time was 3 PM. I was assigned a non-smoking, high-floor connecting room right next to the elevator. Upon discovering noise issues late at night, I discussed it with the hotel, and they upgraded me to an executive suite. Although it was on a lower floor, the suite's layout was right by the sea, offering unobstructed views, which I was very happy with. Environment: The Fortress Hill MTR/bus station is close to the hotel, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel is built along Victoria Harbour, providing unobstructed views, and the suite offered panoramic vistas. Facilities: The bathtub was incredibly satisfying; both in the standard room and the suite, it was a great way to relieve fatigue. The hotel's pool was excellent, though unfortunately, it was cloudy, so the water wasn't crystal blue, which made it less ideal for photos. Hygiene: Full marks for cleanliness, impeccable inside and out. I don't understand how picky some guests must be to give a lower rating... I stayed in three hotels during my six days in Hong Kong, and this was the best. A perfect end to my trip. Thumbs up.

My flight was delayed, so I didn't get to check in until after midnight. The hotel front desk generously upgraded me to a suite, which genuinely moved me. In my decades of staying in hotels in Hong Kong, I have never experienced such wonderful treatment. It's incredible that I got such a spacious suite for just a few hundred – I couldn't even get something like this for thousands previously.

I took the children back to Hong Kong to visit relatives during the summer vacation and stayed in the Prince's Apartment for a month. I felt very satisfied. The location is super convenient, near the subway station and the bus station, the access is completely not worried; nearby restaurants, supermarkets and shopping malls are available, and it is convenient to buy food every day. The room was big enough and clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and courteous and willing to assist. Overall, it is highly recommended!

This has become my new favorite hotel in Hong Kong. The rooms are relatively spacious, and the views are excellent; even without booking a sea view room, you can still mostly see the sea. The transportation is incredibly convenient; it's just a three-minute walk from the MTR exit. North Point Pier is right downstairs, and the airport shuttle bus is also very convenient – you can take the MTR to 100 from the airport, or bus 47 to the airport. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets downstairs. Highly recommended!

The harbor view is especially beautiful at sunrise. North Point still retains many traces of old, authentic Hong Kong, with a strong sense of local life, allowing you to observe the daily routines of many ordinary people. Its location is convenient for transportation, with the Ding Ding tram and city buses crisscrossing the area. There's also a direct A12 bus to the airport, which is very handy. There are quite a few Michelin-starred restaurants too. I truly experienced a more multi-faceted Hong Kong.

The environment and scenery are great, the service attitude is excellent, and the breakfast is plentiful. The gym equipment and swimming pool are also very good. The only things that need improvement are the soundproofing of the rooms, which is a bit poor, and the sink design is a bit strange, as water splashes out every time you wash your hands, so you have to use a towel to soak it up. Also, there's no curtain for privacy in the shower area, which is a bit inconvenient.

It was a good one given the reasonable price. The hotel is clean overall speaking while the air conditioner has quite a bit of dust and the drain near the toilet seemed to be leaking. The location is amazing, you can go to causeway bay by metro within 15 mins. The hotel offers coffee at the lobby.
