Absolutely lovely place to stay! Convenient location, walking distance from metro, train and shops. Well taken care of communal areas. Friendly staff! Comfy bed and a plus for the curtains to create a private place. The beeps from the door locks could be more quiet though.... And female only is a big plus as well ❤️🩹

There's not much to say about this place; the concept is really interesting, but inside, the rooms have a bit of a Dutch style, with carpet and wood everywhere. It's a bit dated, if you can call it that, but it works and works well. It's a shame they don't offer breakfast, and the lobby is quite small. One last thing, which I think only applies to my room: half the bed was covered by the ceiling, just 20cm above it, making it almost impossible to get in. I had to sleep in the space of half a single bed, even though I had a French bed. Weird.

Great location and comfortable stay You really couldn’t ask for a better location — the hostel is only about a 9-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station and right in the heart of the action. The hostel is clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Each bed has a locker, personal light, USB ports and a standard power socket, plus a hook for hanging clothes. The air conditioning was very strong, which was great during the summer heat. The stairs are quite steep, so heavy luggage can be a challenge, and the ladder to the top bunk is a little difficult to use. The toilets were clean, although I had an issue with the hot water one evening. The showers also require you to press the button every few seconds to keep the water running. The staff were very polite, friendly and accommodating, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. There’s also convenient luggage storage next door after check-out — €1 per hour or €5 for the whole day. The only real downside is the noise, especially late in the evening. However, this is to be expected given the very central location in Amsterdam’s busy party area. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a short stay in Amsterdam, especially if you want to be close to the station and all the main attractions.

Great location 12/15 mins walk to central station which can connect you to many places airport was 15 mins away from central station in train stay at hostel was nice comfortable down they have a bar and restaurant outside seating area definitely if I’m back in Amsterdam solo I’ll be here back

I stayed in this hotel in the heart of Amsterdam and the experience was very positive. The location is really unbeatable: a few steps from the main channels, museums and the most lively areas of the city. Perfect to walk or with public means. The room was clean, modern and soundproof, although not particularly spacious. Breakfast is also good, with a variety of choice and fresh products. A small note: the price is a little higher than the services offered, but given the central position it is understandable. In general, a great choice for who wants to live Amsterdam in comfort. Advised!

This isn't a hotel, it's a dormitory-style hostel. It's a bit old, but if you're used to hostels, you should be fine. There's a women-only shower room (with 3 stalls) and two women's toilets, and they weren't particularly crowded. However, the cleaning seemed to be outsourced. Since it was only done once during the day, it could get a bit messy if used late at night or early in the morning. The room window was small and not really sufficient for ventilation. There was some kind of air purifier, but it constantly showed a red light, so I'm not sure if it was working properly. There's no air conditioning or fan, so it might be tough in peak summer or winter. The lockers are a bit small, so a 100-yen shop dial padlock was just right. The kitchen was kept clean regularly. There are four induction cooktops and a variety of cooking utensils, so about four people could cook simultaneously. It might get quite crowded during peak hours. I knew the location when I chose it, but there really isn't much around. However, Flixbus departs from the station roundabout, and if you use it, you can travel to other cities cheaper than by train. So, it might be good for sightseeing beyond the central station (Mauritshuis/Girl with a Pearl Earring, Efteling, etc.). For groceries, the Vomar supermarket (7-minute walk) is probably cheaper than the one directly in front. Overall, I had no problems during my stay, but I got the impression that there were many non-travelers, like students staying long-term or people working locally.

Pros: location Cons: location! Location is very convenient, lots of restaurants and bars around the hostel. However, this means that a lot of the downside of staying somewhere “where the party is” was also there. Some guests will come back home drunk and make a lot of noise, also if staying on Friday nights music from the nearby clubs can be disruptive if you’re a light sleeper. Nonetheless, room was okay, and having a bathroom inside the room was really nice.

-taxes were added when we arrived, each night we add to pay 2€ per person plus others taxes not mentioned when we booked. -it was very noisy, all night we could hear slamming doors and people talking from Time to Time. -The bedroom was very big and well equiped (fridge) and the host was nice and handful. For the price it was overall correct.
