"There are 2 things that I feel bad about. First, the room service opened the door without knocking at 8:30 in the morning. Fortunately, I was in bed. It would be embarrassing if I had just taken a shower and had no clothes on. Second, there were no freshly made omelets and meat and milk for breakfast before closing time. I could only drink coffee. It felt bad. The hotel room was also small and the service was average."

"My wife and I love visiting the Delaware river valley each year, and this time we decided to venture back to Woolverton Inn. We've stayed and dined at many places in the area, but somehow the Woolverton has brought the best of both to its historic property. We love the history, expansive and well-kept grounds, and friendly sheep! We stayed in their newest cottage, which is in their carriage house and has been very well renovated. Since our last visit, the barn on the property has also been authentically restored, a true work of art (that is now my favorite restaurant). We met my son here to celebrate his graduation, and everyone had a spectacular meal. Having a restaurant of this caliber on the property is so great. What really sets this place apart is the staff. Throughout the entire visit it felt like everyone really cares about everyone. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly by the owner alongside a friendly team who could answer every question and request we had. This is something that we haven't seen in many places around here. Just like the restaurant, our experience at breakfast (which is included in the room price) was just as perfect. The property is a true estate and has so much to offer to people like us who just want a break from daily life and feel like they're part of the family. Thank you to the team for making our yearly trip ever so special, we can't wait to come back."

"I had such a wonderful stay here and couldn't recommend it more. The location was perfect for exploring both Lambertville and New Hope, making it an ideal home base for the area. My room was absolutely gorgeous and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed. I was welcomed with delicious gourmet crackers and a whipped cheese spread waiting for me, which was such a lovely touch. The bathroom even had a Dyson hair dryer, which was an unexpected luxury, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was the hospitality. Patricia was incredible from the moment I arrived. She gave me a warm welcome, showed me around the inn, and shared great recommendations for the area. One evening, I happened to be the only guest and the restaurant was closed. Without hesitation, she offered to pick up dinner from a local tavern and bring it back to my room. When she learned it was my birthday, she even surprised me with a candle and lighter so I could celebrate with my dessert. It was such a thoughtful gesture that I'll never forget. Stephanie was equally wonderful. She made sure I enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread in the morning and offered fantastic suggestions for places to visit around town. Her kindness and genuine care made me feel right at home. Another highlight was the Stockton Market, the inn's sister property right across the street. It's a fantastic market filled with local goods and provisions, and it also has an excellent food and coffee menu. Having it just steps away was such a wonderful convenience. It's rare to find a place that is beautiful, comfortable, and so genuinely welcoming. I truly couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I can't wait to come back."

"The hotel is very unique, converted from an old train station. The riverside scenery is beautiful, with stunning views everywhere you look. I really liked the atmosphere of the hotel; it put me in a good mood. We took photos in the lobby, and the staff were very friendly."
