Luxe Plaza Hotel near EVN Zvartnots airport
"Great location close to the airport and the receptionist was wonderful. But there was an awful smell of drains in the room-especially in the bathroom."
Hotel Ararat
"Very virtuous staff. We were taken to the parking lot, which is 100 m from the hotel."
Red Bridge Yerevan
"The room was clean, but the layout and space of the suite, plus the lack of a balcony, made it feel like poor value for money, definitely not as good as the standard rooms. The breakfast was decent, and there were English-speaking staff at both the front desk and in the restaurant."
Tehran Boutique Hotel
"It was a hotel we preferred in October 2023. We liked the breakfast very much in Doğubeyazıt. We would like to thank Yunus Bey very much and Esra Hanım for her interest. We used it twice during our visit to Iran. In general, we recommend it. It is a clean, comfortable and nice hotel."
Amberd Hotel
"I rarely leave reviews, but this place truly deserves more attention! Our stay was memorable in the best way, and I’d like to share a few highlights: Food: Absolutely delicious! The booking included breakfast, which was generous and satisfying. We also added dinner on one of the days—and we didn’t regret it for a second. The variety is impressive: plenty of local, seasonal fruits and dishes that, while simple, are thoughtfully chosen and full of flavor. You won’t find trendy avocado toast or low-calorie vegan cookies (which I personally wasn’t looking for), but I was pleasantly surprised to be served meatballs in béchamel sauce and cooked sprout fish—a beloved local delicacy. The menu caters to all tastes, and I genuinely loved everything I tried. Service: One of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom is stocked with a wide range of amenities—not just the basics. It’s the only place where I’ve seen items like a razor, vanity kit, and sanitary bag, each carefully packaged in a separate branded bag. The rooms are spotless, well-equipped, and modern (none of that worn-out, outdated feel you sometimes get). The staff is exceptionally well-trained—always polite, helpful, and professional. I appreciated that they ask guests to complete a brief feedback form at checkout—something that’s surprisingly rare in Armenia. Even more impressive, if something isn’t perfect, they follow up to make it right. Atmosphere: You really have to experience it in person to feel it fully, but I’ll try to capture it here. The grounds are meticulously maintained—cleaned multiple times a day, with lush greenery and flowering plants carefully watered. There’s a peaceful lagoon with ducks and a charming tradition of leaving bread in a basket for guests to feed them. Children have both indoor and outdoor playgrounds, and the pools (also both indoor and outdoor) are cleaned daily. One detail that stood out to me: the rooms use towels produced by local manufacturers. It’s clear the owners care deeply—not just about their guests, but about the environment, their staff’s working conditions, and supporting local businesses. This is more than just a place to stay—it’s a place with heart. And that’s what will bring me back again."
Alem Hotel
"Don’t be misled by the high ranking point of this place. The only thing it deserves 10 out of 10 is people who work there. The helped us to get to the third floor with luggage. And yes the hotel is on the third floor and only stairs! The bed is not professional hotel bed, the mattress is soft and has waves in it, so you have to choose the right position of you body to catch the straight part, the pillows are very cheap and extremely soft, the don’t hold your head at all. You can feel the sweat smell mixed with other people perfume through the pillowcase. It’s disgusting. The whole building and the room in particular have very strong smell of smoking. I assume people smoked there for many years and stopped in nearest past, so the smell is really strong. In my country it is prohibited to smoke in public places for many years now and I completely forgot that unpleasant smell. And the noise, it is so loud, as if you sleep right in the street. Cars, bikes, music, people laughing, so loud. All in all it is place to stay when you drive for a long time and stopped in some cheap motel by the road when you are unable to drive any longer. Not suitable for stay in city, even if it is one night stay. Unless you’re ok with all the things above."
Sphera by Stellar Hotels, Yerevan
"The room is very clean, the surrounding areas are very convenient for traveling and eating, the facilities are also complete, and the front desk service is very enthusiastic. The downside is that it is a little far from the city center, but it is also very convenient to take a taxi."
