Smart Hotel Autodromo

Smart Hotel Autodromo ★★

📍 Via dei Colli, 39, Imola

"Just to be clear, this review is only related to my experience, namely staying at the Smart Hotel Autodromo (aka Hotel Rivazza) during the Imola F1 Grand Prix. For that purpose, the hotel was OUTSTANDING, primarily due to its AMAZING location. It's located right at the Rivazza turn (hence its original name Hotel Rivazza), so guests can watch the races from the hotel balcony or from the hotel garden, both of which offer fantastic views. More importantly, the location of the hotel meant that we parked our car in the hotel parking on Thursday evening and didn't touch it until Monday morning after the race. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday we went everywhere on foot: to the racing events, to the various happenings at the track, and to the beautiful city of Imola for dinner (at one of the many excellent restaurants). The hotel itself is modest but very well organized, very clean, and with good Wi-Fi. It was quite expensive during this race weekend, but in my opinion it was well worth the money: it offered a unique and unforgettable experience. My only request: I wish the hotel had arranged a special viewing area in its garden that would have been exclusive to hotel guests. We paid A LOT of money for our room, and it would have been nice to have a chair to sit in in the hotel garden."

Hotel Il Maglio
7.7 (8 reviews)

Hotel Il Maglio ★★★

📍 Via Prov.le Selice 26A, Imola

"Just outside Imola, in an industrial area, good for a one-night stopover. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, adequate shower. Varied breakfast with the option of cooked savory options (there's a restaurant on site). Friendly staff. We paid €80 for a double room."

Hotel Olimpia ★★★★
"An older hotel; the lobby is currently being renovated. But the rooms (at least mine, which was also an upgrade) are dated, from the furniture to the bathroom fixtures. The price is certainly not affordable, and the area isn't the best in the evenings. Breakfast is poor."
