"Very clean hostel. Modern facilities and friendly staff. I borrowed and adoptor too from the reception. Few steps away from Interlaken OST, pier, bus station and big COOP supermarket. You can choose what you want to eat have options. The view from the toilet and the lounge is the torqoise river. Very relaxing from 2nd floor. If you want to explore to the mountains and cities like Luzern, Bern or you go Zermatt or you want to explore the entire Bernese Oberland you can stay here. Transport is already at your doorstep. No worries arriving late at night 😊"

"The room was clean and tidy, with a well-thought-out layout, and a small balcony offering nice mountain views, including paragliders. Facilities: Although the bathroom was not large, it was very convenient to use, showing great attention to detail in its design. The breakfast was quite rich and the food was healthy. There's also a communal dining area with self-heating facilities, so you can buy food and heat it up yourself. The owner was very hospitable, proactively asking about our stay, which made us feel right at home."

"The hotel's location is fantastic for getting around; with a train station and bus stop right outside, reaching all the tourist spots is incredibly easy. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it perfect for grabbing any essentials. The room was clean and tidy. My only minor criticisms would be the slightly small room size and the limited breakfast selection."

"The hotel is located in Interlaken West, just a few minutes' walk from the train station! Along the way and nearby, there are numerous shops and restaurants, including a COOP supermarket. 😂 Although I shared a bathroom, it was just a few steps from my room and clean! I received a confirmation email from the hotel before check-in, allowing me to check in online, streamlining the check-in process. 👍🏻 Although I missed the front desk's opening hours, I received an email notification and received my room key, transportation card, and Wi-Fi password. Although I didn't interact with the staff formally, every time I saw them, they were always smiling and nodding. I had been concerned that my room, located above the restaurant, would be noisy or subject to cooking smells, but upon arrival, I didn't notice any of that!"

"Great location. Thankful for an issuance of a bigger room/ double bed. A single bed comforter was issued though. My room was at the extension wing portion, with auto sensor lighting along the rooms corridor and a slight delayed lighting. Would have a preferred a bright corridor. The heater/ AC system can be on the noisier side too."

"This is an old-fashioned hotel with over a hundred years of history in the area. It's a combination of two classical hotel buildings, a modern central lobby and restaurant built more recently, and a two-story modern apartment-style accommodation at the back. The two classical hotel buildings are Carlton and Europe. Their interiors have been largely optimized for modern needs. The current hotel owners, while renovating, had to adhere to government regulations for preserving the antique structure. However, the rest of the amenities have been modernized as much as possible, with original wood flooring used for repairs and replacements. Overall, it's a very good hotel! Breakfast is buffet-style, but the selection is essentially a Swiss-European breakfast: yogurt, bread and jam, juice, hot tea and coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, pan-fried shredded potatoes, fruit, and various cheeses and cold cuts. For tourists not accustomed to Western-style meals, it might be a bit challenging. The restaurant also offers additional egg dishes or other options for an extra charge – but you have to pay more! The location is very convenient. Right outside is Interlaken Ost station, the starting point for various attractions in the Alps. You can even take a boat from here to the small town of Brienz, or to Iseltwald, famous for the Korean drama 'Crash Landing on You.' Both the pier and the small castle are stunning scenic spots. Upon check-in, the front desk provides a free bus pass, allowing you to take buses to explore various towns. This is different from the mountain trains and cable cars, which require extra payment to go up the mountains quickly. Generally, most attractions stop going up the mountain after 5 PM, so it's best to start early in the morning to make good use of your time! However, this hotel still has its drawbacks. For example, while the water supply is comprehensive, the hot and cold water stability is very poor. Turning on the hot water can be scalding, and sometimes it suddenly turns cold mid-shower, then becomes super hot again. The showering experience is quite subpar! Each guest room uses a classical keyhole lock for opening and closing the door. There's no modern double-bolt lock; you have to lock the door from the inside with the door key. The upside is that once locked from the inside, the keyhole is filled by the key, preventing anyone from picking the lock from the outside. When you go out and lock up, the heavy key can be left in the mail slot at the front desk, or entrusted to the front desk for safekeeping, in a classic manner! Most importantly, this hotel does not allow children! According to the owner's vision, he wants this hotel to be adult-focused, allowing busy people to enjoy their own time while traveling and recharging, rather than having to take care of children during their vacation. This way, adults can truly live for themselves. Therefore, this hotel does not allow guests under 16 years old. If you plan to book with children, please look for accommodation elsewhere – it's better for both parties! Overall, this is a good place for mature individuals to stay, perfect for those focused on enjoying mountain excursions. Who wouldn't want to return to their hotel immediately after coming down the mountain to rest?"

"Stayed at twin deluxe room which is newly renovated and on the higher floors. Chose this specific twin room because of its size. Pros: 1. Hotel staff were friendly both at reception and breakfast 2. Rooms were fairly large and modern, views were incredibly (ask for mountain facing room) 3. They will give you an Interlaken guest card. 4. Location is about 7-10 mins walk from Interlaken West Station and surrounded by high-end shops. 5. There's free self-service coffee and tea making area at one of the floors and its helpful if you have a jug/bottle to fill cold/hot water Cons: 1. Same breakfast everyday and it lacked variety 2. No kettle nor cups to make hot drinks (notice this is the case with hotels in Switzerland 3. TV channels were mostly in German language"

"Everything is good except few technical problems in my room. I think the room has just been newly renovated and not yet running smoothly, there were problems the kitchen door, wifi signal, TV signal. But staffs were very helpful to try fixing the problems."

"Friendly staffs especially the lady serving breakfast and coffee, great location, big and clean room, upgraded our 2 single room to a 2 double room, really nice gesture. I had to leave 6am for a day trip to Jungfraujoch and was given a packed breakfast, really really appreciated the good effort. Keep it up !"

"I spent my 30th birthday at this hotel, and it was truly unforgettable! They gave me the best room on the 13th floor with an incredible view. I would really like to thank the entire team for their warm welcome and kindness. The landscape feels like another world — absolutely breathtaking. I totally recommend this place to anyone who wants to reconnect with nature. The spa was amazing as always, the restaurant and breakfast were excellent, and the bar had a great atmosphere. Everything was just perfect!"
