"The Birch Forest Hotel, even its name sounds like it has a story, and like its design, it reflects the owner's many thoughtful touches. The owner is friendly and refined, personally explaining the room's features and maintaining it meticulously. The room is exactly the size described in the link, but it's very practical. A 24-inch suitcase can be laid out without obstructing movement; the space is used very efficiently. The cleanliness is excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and even the lace trim on the disposable slippers seems specially selected. If you're unsure where to eat after settling in, feel free to try the owner's recommended restaurants—they are truly excellent! The location goes without saying; it's very close to popular attractions such as the train station and Holy Spring Square."

"I booked this hotel because the reviews said it was the best, and the photos looked good. As soon as we arrived and the car stopped, the front desk and security staff immediately came to help with our luggage. The check-in process was very smooth. The room facilities were exactly as shown in the online photos, everything you need was there, and the overall space was quite large and comfortable. There's a supermarket and many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel, which is very convenient. There's also a large grassland nearby where you can see many cattle and horses. The hotel breakfast had a good variety of vegetables, which was great for someone like me who loves to eat greens. Finally, I have to mention that the front desk and security staff provided excellent service. Every time we entered or left the hotel, the security guard would help pull back the curtain, and the front desk staff would politely greet us. When we checked out, both the front desk and security staff helped carry our luggage to the car. Top-notch service, definitely five stars!"

"I am a young Englishman on a 20 day solo self-drive road trip across northern Heilongjian and Inner Mongolia. After my stay in Hulun Buir, I decided to drive down to Arxan for 2 nights exploring. I booked this stay based off of the other foreign guests' positive experience. I arrived in the town late in the evening. The boss was waiting for me and was attentive and welcoming from the start. The room is very spacious and comfortable, and the temperature was just right. Everything is provided and replaced when needed. After hiking in the national park, I came back to the boss and his extended family making CNY preparations. Then I was invited to drink Chinese tea (Dian Hong) at their tea table. I was then welcomed to eat with the family, drink beer and eat until I was full. I was welcomed not just as a guest of theirs, but as a family friend. In mid-winter, Aershan/Arxan is a quiet and cold place. I came as part of a long journey taking my rented 4x4 Tank 300 through the snow and ice on routes apart of the Hulun Buir Snow and Ice Festival. My journey was peaceful, solemn and isolated. The hospitality and warm welcome was exactly what I needed after my long drive alone and it is a memory I will take home to the UK with me. I highly recommend this guesthouse, especially if you are travelling solo across this wilderness. Thank you brother. "Let me start with the service, which was excellent. Especially the restaurant staff, everyone I met was polite and enthusiastic. I gave my child a lot of small accessories, and the child was very happy. The room I booked was indeed a bit old, and there was a strong sheep smell in the room, which made me dizzy. "The experience of staying in the big bed room with my partner is particularly good. The big bed space is enough for two people to stretch out and sleep. The mattress is soft and moderate, the blackout curtains are very private, and the overall atmosphere of the room is warm and quiet. "The largest hotel in Arxan, though perhaps a bit old, is very well maintained. The hotel is vast, with woods and a stream behind it, offering fresh air. The lobby and rooms are luxuriously decorated. The linens, bedding, shower water, and cleanliness are all commendable. Upon check-in, we were given complimentary fruit, yogurt, and Yili bottled water. Due to continuous rain, the room temperature was a bit low, but after receiving a heater, the temperature immediately became comfortable. The hotel restaurant is luxuriously decorated, and the breakfast selection is extensive, including lamb offal, noodles, wontons, fruit, and the hot dishes are also quite good; the millet porridge is excellent. For lunch, we had hot pot, and the lamb was authentic in both appearance and flavor. The restaurant manager, Sister Fang, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. Arxan's scenery is breathtaking, and the two days at the hotel felt like home."
