"Even after doing extensive research and reading numerous reviews on Xiaohongshu, I was still incredibly impressed upon checking in. The hotel's exterior clearly has a more refined feel compared to other hotels in Wunongding. Upon arrival, I was upgraded to a Rinong Balcony King room on the 4th floor, which offered more privacy and fewer obstructions for viewing the snow-capped mountains. The room's design was exquisite, with all facilities thoughtfully arranged for optimal mountain views. The space was also very well-planned, providing ample room for both relaxation and work. The Wabi-sabi style, complete with a balcony, allowed me to easily step outside for photos, ensuring I never missed a clear view of the snow mountains without having to endure the cold for too long. The welcome grape juice in the room was delicious, and both the mattress and pillows were wonderfully thick and soft. The butler was very responsive and thoughtfully assisted with transfers, luggage, and even provided nasal inhalers. They patiently introduced the hotel's facilities and important information. During the off-season, there weren't many guests, making the public areas very peaceful. Both the 4th-floor coffee shop and 3rd-floor restaurant offered expansive views, though prices were a bit on the higher side. I highly recommend the highland barley Basque cheesecake at the coffee shop, the porcini mushroom braised rice and red three-diced stir-fry for dinner at the restaurant, and the matsutake and black chicken rice noodles for breakfast. The actual experience of seeing Meili Snow Mountain far surpassed any photos; I was incredibly fortunate to witness its entirety and the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' during the rainy season!"

"This was truly a moving stay! We checked in during Chinese New Year, and because of a flight delay, we didn't arrive until after midnight. The owner came out in the middle of the night to help us with our luggage, turned on the oxygen machine for us, and even brought us instant noodles – absolutely thoughtful! What was even more touching was when they later found out we wanted to go to the observation deck the night before to secure a parking spot. They proactively offered to pick us up, knowing that walking would involve an uphill climb and be quite tiring. My goodness, they offered to pick us up! Even though it was only a 5-minute walk, with the altitude and the climb, the owner's thoughtfulness was incredible and brought tears to my eyes. Getting back to the point, the hotel's location is excellent. The rooftop terrace goes without saying, and the interior of the guesthouse is also absolutely amazing. I've attached photos – perfect for those 'once-in-a-lifetime' shots!"

"The hotel is very close to Feilai Temple, which was super convenient. I could go to the Feilai Temple viewpoint four or five times a day without any hassle. The parking lot was very practical. The room was quite good, with new facilities and a stylish, non-generic design. Most rooms don't have a TV, which was a plus. Breakfast was simple but filling, and the rice noodles were delicious. The coffee was also good. The service was excellent. A young man and woman worked together seamlessly and always seemed busy. There's a laundry room on the first floor, which was practical and useful. By the way, I highly recommend 'Shixiangge', the mom-and-pop restaurant a few dozen meters to the left of the hotel. The ambiance is very average, but the food is so delicious – the kind of amazing food you only find at these unpretentious, family-run places."

"Facilities: They have everything you could ask for – smart toilets, a projector, and even two oxygen concentrators! Very reassuring. Hygiene: Visibly quite clean. Environment: The location at Wunongding is absolutely amazing. It's a shame we didn't get to see the 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' from Wunongding, but I'd still highly recommend staying there if you can. This place has a 5th-floor terrace with an excellent view, so you don't have to jostle with crowds. Service: The service was great! The staff (both male and female) were incredibly enthusiastic and even upgraded our room when one was available. Since we arrived late on the first day, they kindly changed our afternoon tea to coffee for the second day. It was a very pleasant stay."

"I was quite disappointed with the service at Ji Xia Shan. Their proactiveness is severely lacking, and their service awareness is simply not enough. When they mess up and upset a customer, all they do is apologize and ask for understanding, expecting the customer to just swallow it and deal with it themselves. There's absolutely no action taken, it's like knocking someone over, only saying sorry but not helping them up. I booked Ji Xia Shan several days in advance, but by almost 8 PM the night before check-in, no one had contacted me to add a butler's WeChat. I had to call them to ask if they even had a butler service. The hotel said they did, and that they had simply overlooked me. Later, they called back to explain that they had tried to call me around 3 PM but no one picked up, and then they asked Ctrip to send me a text message and didn't follow up further. I checked the Ctrip information, and it didn't say the hotel couldn't reach me, and with so many text messages, I wouldn't check every single one. Furthermore, when checking out, the front desk had absolutely no farewell gift prepared. As I got into the car and was about to close the door and leave, I asked the bellboy who had helped with luggage: ”Didn't the package say it included a farewell gift?” The bellboy then realized and said, ”Wait a moment,” and went in to get a keychain. This is unlike other hotels where farewell gifts are readily given out during check-out. Another thing I'm particularly unhappy about is: definitely do NOT book the Yunling room type in summer! It was advertised that we could see Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Meili Snow Mountain, but due to lush vegetation, the snow-capped mountains were completely obstructed! See pictures one and two; I felt deceived! It would have been better to book the cheapest room type and go to the 4th-floor cafe observation deck to see the snow mountains. I ended up wasting over a thousand yuan! Also, this hotel has no elevator. To get to the observation deck, you have to climb stairs. Every time I climbed to the fourth floor, I was out of breath. If you have altitude sickness, I'd strongly advise against it. The only thing to praise is the young woman working at the 4th-floor cafe. She was all smiles, and her photography skills were excellent. When I asked her to help take pictures, she was genuinely enthusiastic and patient. Ji Xia Shan is considered a relatively well-known hotel in the Meili Snow Mountain area. Many places try to imitate Songtsam, for example, serving ginger tea and hot towels during check-in, or using keys for all door locks. However, it seems they've only copied Songtsam's superficial aspects; their service is worlds apart. And for Songtsam's snow mountain view rooms, you can truly lie in bed and face the snow mountains directly, being able to admire them from your bed (see picture six). The price of over three thousand yuan is well worth it. But Ji Xia Shan's snow mountain view rooms, which are even more expensive than Songtsam's, offer absolutely no view of the snow mountains. And the difference in service is even greater."

"Location and Environment: We chose room 402, 'Jian Shan' (Mountain View), which had a large, unobstructed terrace. The view was almost as good as from the rooftop, so there was no need to climb up there; we could just sit on the balcony and wait for the snow-capped mountains to appear. We were incredibly lucky! The day we checked in, it was raining with a lot of mist and clouds, and we thought we wouldn't see anything. But to our surprise, the next morning, we miraculously saw all thirteen peaks! The hotel's location is excellent; you can see everything clearly from the balcony, no need to go to the Wu Nong Ding observation deck. Facilities: The room was well-equipped with underfloor heating, an oxygen concentrator, and a humidifier. The only minor drawback was that the humidifier didn't look very clean, so we didn't dare use it, which made it a bit dry at night. It definitely needs better cleaning. Food: Dinner was excellent. We ordered a small hot pot with yak meat, and the 1.5 jin (approx. 750g) of yak meat was plentiful and came with several vegetables. The yak meat was tender, flavorful, and incredibly fragrant. The server was also very attentive. We also received complimentary welcome snacks, fruit, and drinks. Service: The hotel also recommended a driver to take us to Ninong the next day, which we greatly appreciated! I highly recommend staying here because the location and environment are simply superb!"

"This is definitely the best place to stay at Feilai Temple if you want to see the Meili Snow Mountain! Even though it's an older hotel, everything is well-maintained, and the service is excellent. From the moment I checked in, I received a very warm welcome. The front desk staff and manager even helped upgrade my room. The room was spacious, making it very convenient to view Meili Snow Mountain without having to go to the crowded scenic area. You can even see the 'Golden Sun on the Mountain' (weather permitting) right from the hotel, and stargaze at night – it's truly beautiful. After checking in, you can head to the Feilai Temple observation deck to look around and catch the sunset over the Thirteen Peaks of Meili, which is incredibly cool. There's a snack street right outside the hotel with delicious and affordable food, super convenient! Compared to other overpriced guesthouses, choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right across from the Wunongding viewing platform for Meili Snow Mountain. You can directly view the snow-capped mountains from your bed on the balcony. If you're taking photos, a white pagoda in front might obstruct the view, so you'd need to go down to the viewing platform below. The hotel facilities are very comprehensive, including an oxygen concentrator and a humidifier. The decor style is both modern and incorporates ******* elements. During the Spring Festival, the hotel's dinner is a set menu, requiring reservations, costing around 270-280 RMB for three people. The dining area features a long table, which feels very ceremonial, and there are two fireplaces in the back that create a medieval ambiance when lit. We stayed here for two nights, and on the second evening, we ordered hotpot. The owner even gave us an extra platter of beef, and we also ordered a bottle of local ice wine, which tasted quite good. Breakfast is a set menu, with rich milk and rice noodles served in ceramic pots; both were delicious. The hotel's exterior is the white building on the far left of image 4 below. We stayed for two nights, originally planning for a backup day in case we missed the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' phenomenon, but we were incredibly lucky to witness it beautifully on both days. The scenery was absolutely stunning."
