"We stayed for two nights because the hotel is conveniently located near Fanjingshan. While the location was suitable for our visit, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel was extremely quiet when we first arrived, and it appeared that we were the only guests during our stay. Unfortunately, the level of service did not meet expectations. On our first night, we requested washing powder so that we could do some laundry. We were told that it had run out and that more would be available the following morning. However, when we checked the next day, there was still no washing powder available. More frustratingly, the staff made no effort to update us on the situation or offer an alternative solution. This lack of communication and initiative was disappointing. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable. We eventually decided to extend our stay by one more night because my wife was experiencing back pain and preferred not to travel. However, our sleep quality did not improve. At around 6:00 a.m., we were awakened by other guests talking loudly in the corridor and by the constant noise of doors opening and closing. The soundproofing appears to be poor, as noises from the hallway could be clearly heard inside the room. Between the uncomfortable bed, inadequate sound insulation, and the lack of attentiveness from the staff, we did not get the restful stay we had hoped for. ."

"The environment is great, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. Staying on the ground floor is even better because you can park your car right outside, which makes it easy to unload luggage. The high humidity in summer was actually good for my skin! The only downside was that clothes don't dry outside, so I had to hang them indoors. The hotel breakfast was a bit simple, but everything else was fine. The hotel is just across the bridge from the scenic area entrance, and you can even play in the water under the bridge."

The facilities are comprehensive and quite new. The front desk staff was lovely, kind, and enthusiastic. "The hotel was easy to find, with parking right out front. The room was spacious and bright, and the bedding was spotlessly clean. The bed was large enough, and there were two sinks in the bathroom. The shower water was great, and they even provided bathrobes and a shoehorn. It had a smart toilet and a smart speaker (Xiao Du). The ashtray was quite classy, and there's an elevator. The hotel itself is elegant and stylish. My stay was a perfect ten. I highly recommend it to everyone."

"Amazing! Fascinating! Fanjingshan was the final stop of our memorable 10-day tour of Guizhou Province, and we truly could not have chosen a better place to conclude our journey. We felt genuinely blessed to stay at this lovely guesthouse for three nights. From the very beginning, the owner Mr. Zhang Haotian and his family made us feel completely at home; they were warm, engaging, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are tastefully designed and thoughtfully laid out, perfectly sized for comfort. Our room offered a soothing view of the river, along with a private balcony; an ideal spot to relax with your favourite tea or coffee. The modern touches were impressive too, especially the high-tech sensor toilet, which added a pleasant surprise. The three-storey guesthouse is equipped with an elevator, a thoughtful convenience for guests with heavy luggage or those who may find climbing stairs challenging. Dinner, lovingly cooked by the family, was absolutely delicious, with generous portions that reflected both their hospitality and culinary skill. Every meal felt homely and satisfying. We only wish we had taken more and better photographs of the guesthouse. Without a doubt, this is one place we will return to. As for the enchanting Fanjing Mountain itself, the owner drove us to the scenic area entrance. He even offered to pick us up later, but we chose to walk back instead, enjoying the cool climate. Fanjing Mountain is magical in its own right. The steep cable car ride to the summit, which takes over 20 minutes, was an experience in itself, offering breathtaking views of the mountain ranges stretching endlessly around us. At the top stands the age-old Buddhist temple, serene and awe-inspiring, perfectly harmonising with its natural surroundings. We loved the guesthouse, we are very grateful to Mr. Zhang and his family for their kindness, and deeply thankful for the unforgettable experience at Fanjing Mountain. It was the perfect ending to a remarkable journey."

"We chose this hotel for its triple room, which is quite rare but perfect for us. The room was reasonably clean, though perhaps because it's in the mountains, there were always bugs. The restaurant behind the hotel is excellent, and you can access it directly from the third-floor walkway. On the ground floor, there were always people playing mahjong – I'm not sure if they were guests or staff. Is this some kind of local custom? It's right in the lobby, facing the front, which makes the hotel look more like a mahjong parlor. It might be better if they had a separate room for that."

"This B&B is located right inside the Dong village, offering a peaceful and quiet environment away from any noisy crowds. The room was spotless, the bedding comfortable, and a full range of toiletries was provided. The owner recommended some authentic local farm-to-table restaurants nearby, where the local dishes were generous in portion and truly delicious. It's very close to the East Gate of Fanjing Mountain, just a few minutes' drive to the scenic area, and they even thoughtfully provided tips for hiking. The courtyard has lots of greenery, and you can see mountain views as soon as you open the window in the morning. Strolling around the Dong village and its drum towers was especially pleasant. It's perfect for us older folks who prefer a relaxed pace of travel; staying here was truly comfortable and reassuring."

"The service is super good! The two bosses were warm and thoughtful, took us to the scenic spot and shared fruit with us. The greenery in front of the door is too beautiful, with various flowers and lemon trees. The room was very clean, comfortable and warm, and the view was good. The most unique is the supplies provided. It is the most popular in so many stores I have lived in. Oat soap, rubber band, very portable comb, toothbrush is also very easy to use, cotton swabs are also convenient to use, unlike other very soft ones. Break. Sound insulation is very good, lunch break and sleep at night are very stable. I wish you a prosperous business!"

"This guesthouse has an excellent location, very close to the east gate of Fanjing Mountain. The room was spacious and clean, and the large bed was super comfortable for sleeping. The soundproofing in the room is great; even when people in the opposite room were talking loudly and I could hear their voices clearly in the hallway, I couldn't hear a thing once inside my room. The owners are very hardworking; not only do they run the guesthouse, but you can also eat meals there. Their handsome son is incredibly diligent; whenever there are guests dining, he helps serve food and clear tables. I felt terrible when I accidentally cracked a toothbrush cup badly, but the owners both immediately said it was fine and even offered me a new one, refusing to let me pay for it. "This is the first time I've ever felt compelled to write a review, which just goes to show how thoughtful the owner is! The guesthouse, from its location to its decor, is truly tasteful. The service is incredibly attentive, reflected in all the subtle details. It's not just polite courtesy; they genuinely anticipate your needs. If I ever go with my family again, I'd definitely choose this place. So many friends have already asked me which guesthouse it is just from seeing my WeChat Moments photos – when something's good, I'm happy to recommend it! Wishing the owner a booming business. However, I do have one small suggestion: both my friend and I stayed in separate rooms, and we both felt the only minor drawback was the pillows. They were too soft and not very supportive, which isn't ideal for people with neck issues. Perhaps a batch of slightly firmer pillows could be considered."
