"The hotel's front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly warm and provided excellent service. They even gave us a detailed guide for Mount Fanjing, which allowed us to pre-book tickets for the Golden Summit on the day of our climb, saving us a lot of time. While the hotel facilities might feel a bit dated, you can tell the owner invested a lot of effort into the decor back in the day, and it still maintains a luxurious feel. The stay was very comfortable, and both the elderly and children were very satisfied."

"We stayed for two nights because the hotel is conveniently located near Fanjingshan. While the location was suitable for our visit, the overall experience was disappointing. The hotel was extremely quiet when we first arrived, and it appeared that we were the only guests during our stay. Unfortunately, the level of service did not meet expectations. On our first night, we requested washing powder so that we could do some laundry. We were told that it had run out and that more would be available the following morning. However, when we checked the next day, there was still no washing powder available. More frustratingly, the staff made no effort to update us on the situation or offer an alternative solution. This lack of communication and initiative was disappointing. The bed was also very hard and uncomfortable. We eventually decided to extend our stay by one more night because my wife was experiencing back pain and preferred not to travel. However, our sleep quality did not improve. At around 6:00 a.m., we were awakened by other guests talking loudly in the corridor and by the constant noise of doors opening and closing. The soundproofing appears to be poor, as noises from the hallway could be clearly heard inside the room. Between the uncomfortable bed, inadequate sound insulation, and the lack of attentiveness from the staff, we did not get the restful stay we had hoped for. ."

"After a strenuous hike up Fanjingshan, we drove to the hotel for a much-needed rest. The front desk staff was incredibly welcoming and courteous, even providing a complimentary room upgrade. A staff member then kindly escorted me to the elevator. The lobby was grand and impressive. Our room was spacious and felt well-appointed, clearly benefiting from a recent renovation. I particularly appreciated the bathroom's 'three-separation' design (separate wet and dry areas), and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The mattress was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was strong yet quiet. Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options, truly having something for everyone. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, where the male server was very attentive, and the prices were quite reasonable. However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. All the pillows were uniformly high, which was uncomfortable for me as I prefer a lower pillow, making it difficult to fall asleep. In the morning, when I went to shower, it took over ten minutes for the hot water to come on, and even then, it was only lukewarm. It wasn't hot enough to properly wash my hair, so I just quickly rinsed off and got out to avoid getting cold."

"The room was very large and it didn't take long to renovate. The interior is very complete, the house is not humid at all, and the heating is sufficient. The early morning is delicious and the rice noodles are very delicious. The boss is responsive and parking is very convenient, and there are two cute puppies. Highly recommended"

"Nestled by the mountains and river, the environment is absolutely top-notch. The owner is incredibly kind, and the breakfast is exceptional for a B&B. The decor is thoughtfully designed by the owner's family. It's perfect for family trips, team building, or even a solo relaxing getaway. You could easily stay for several days. Most importantly, I found this to be one of the cleanest B&Bs I've ever stayed in."

"Seeking a peaceful retreat, I blindly picked 'Yunfuli Hidden Retreat' tucked away in Zhaisha Dong Village for my trip to Fanjingshan, and I was absolutely blown away! The guesthouse's design philosophy is 'return to simplicity,' with its courtyard brimming with plants. The new Chinese-style garden, combined with the traditional Dong stilt houses, makes every photo-op a masterpiece. My favorite part was the tea set in the room; brewing a pot of Fanjing Cuiya with mountain spring water, sitting by the window watching the misty mountains, and listening to the birdsong instantly brought a sense of calm. There's none of the pretentiousness of a star-rated hotel here, only a reassuring 'host culture' and a slow pace of life. It's the perfect place to unwind for the weekend!"

"I looked at many hotels before finally choosing this one for my trip to Fanjingshan. The hotel is a little over an hour's drive from Tongren Railway Station, which was very convenient as I took a taxi from Tongren. It's a ten-minute walk from Fanjingshan, and the hotel offers a shuttle service. It's a garden-style hotel with a nice environment. Since it wasn't peak season, the hotel proactively upgraded my room upon arrival. The room was spacious, and the bedding was comfortable. The room I stayed in the second night had a bathtub, which was very relaxing after hiking. Perfect for a vacation. The hotel also thoughtfully provided us with hiking gloves and offered to bring raincoats when the weather was bad – very considerate! Overall, I highly recommend it and give it a thumbs up!"

"The Fanyin B&B selected for Fanjing Mountain climbing, the overall experience exceeded expectations! The room was clean and tidy. There is a tea area on the first floor. You can drink tea and order food. It is very convenient to eat. The boss and his wife are very enthusiastic, and they also drove us to the entrance of the scenic spot, saving a lot of trouble. Next to the homestay is Jinjiang, you can go to the river in your leisure time, the mountains and rivers are beautiful. The service is thoughtful and intimate, very suitable for mountaineering tourists, highly recommended!"

"Our stay at the homestay is very comfortable and a very nice experience. The entrance for the Fanjingshan mountain is a few minutes drive and our host and her husband drove us to the place and picked us up for free.  Our host are very sweet, accomodating and very helpful. They made us feel very welcomed. On our check out, they even escorted us to the place where the taxi was picking us up. They sent us off like a family member, talked to the driver to make sure we will be taken cared of. They were always smiling and ready to assist you. We really enjoyed our stay here because of their hospitality. The room we stayed in is clean and well kept too. The scenic attraction - the Fanjingshan mountain is amazing! All in all our trip at Fanjingshan was very memorable and we highly recommend staying Fanjingshan Weijianjingqi Homestay when you visit the place."

"Staying at Xieshan Jingshe, nestled at the foot of Fanjing Mountain, felt just like going back to my grandma's house when I was a child. Stepping off the car, crossing a small bridge, and entering the courtyard, there was an immediate sense of familiarity and peace. A babbling stream flowed in front, while silent mountains loomed behind. The courtyard was lush with greenery, exuding the scent of damp earth and the passage of time. Moss slowly spread along the flagstone path, and bamboo shadows swayed gently. Koi fish glided serenely in the pond, and the bell by the entrance chimed softly in the breeze, making you instinctively lighten your steps. This wasn't some contrived 'Chinese style,' but a place truly lived in. Their attentiveness was subtle but profound. Knowing roughly when we'd arrive, they'd already warmed the room, even the comforter was toasty. A wisp of sandalwood incense was slowly burning, and the tea set was neatly arranged, as if awaiting its owner's return. The moment I opened the door, my heart felt at ease. The furnishings inside reflected a restrained and tasteful Chinese aesthetic. Carved wooden window lattices, soaring double-leaf Chinese doors, and soft, warm lighting – each item seemed to have stepped out of an earlier time. The collected artifacts and calligraphies were not flashy, yet each quietly told its own story. For dinner, we decided to stay in rather than venture out, opting for a 'home-cooked meal.' Upon hearing our request, the auntie immediately sprang into action – she went to another part of the property, caught a chicken, and stewed a fresh pot of chicken soup. Then she dug fresh fiddlehead ferns from the vegetable patch, still carrying the aroma of earth. There were also her homemade salted duck eggs, not overly salty, yet oily with just one bite. The firewood slowly burned, the soup in the pot gently simmered, and the aroma of the food gradually filled the air. That scent wasn't the refined fragrance of a restaurant, but the long-missed, comforting taste of home. This isn't just a 'chic' guesthouse; it’s far more touching than many of them. It's like a well-preserved slice of life – quiet, authentic, and full of warmth. This is a place one will remember and want to return to for another short stay."
