Highly recommended! This guesthouse was the most pleasant surprise of our Western Sichuan road trip, far exceeding our expectations! The views were absolutely stunning. We were incredibly lucky to witness the sunset turning the snow-capped mountains into a golden spectacle right from the guesthouse. The combination of snow-capped peaks and the twilight was an unforgettable sight. The service was exceptionally attentive. Upon arrival, the staff proactively helped us with our luggage, and they were warm and thoughtful, offering excellent recommendations for nearby attractions. During the trip, I unexpectedly started my period, and I'm incredibly grateful to the guesthouse staff for providing emergency sanitary pads. Such attention to detail is truly heartwarming. The facilities are well-equipped. After sunset in GuNong Village, the temperature drops quickly, but the room's underfloor heating and radiators were very effective, keeping the room wonderfully warm. We were very comfortable staying at this high-altitude location. I was initially drawn to the guesthouse by its design style, and seeing it in person was even more impressive. The decor is aesthetically pleasing, minimalist yet luxurious, and perfect for taking amazing photos.

Our trip to Tagong, Western Sichuan, found its warmest surprise in the Kangding Tagong Pokhara Smart Manor. Located in Tagong Town, the manor perfectly blends the relaxed, rustic charm of the ******* plateau with a tastefully tidy courtyard and rooms. Our deluxe sunroom was exceptionally bright, offering breathtaking views of the clear highland sky and distant mountains right from the window. Our three-day stay was incredibly comfortable and soothing, completely melting away the fatigue of our long road trip. What truly touched us was the genuine warmth and hospitality. The owner and front desk staff were incredibly friendly and approachable, making us feel right at home. Every evening, they thoughtfully delivered warm milk, chasing away the chill of the highland nights. On one occasion, returning to the manor after being caught in the rain, the owner immediately brought us freshly brewed ginger tea, its warmth spreading from our tongues throughout our bodies. These thoughtful details, more than any luxurious amenities, truly resonated with us. This is far more than just a place to stay; it's a welcoming haven on our Western Sichuan journey. Should I ever return to Tagong, I will undoubtedly stay here again, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to every traveler venturing into this beautiful wilderness.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Our stay in Xinduqiao was absolutely wonderful, thanks to the kindness and hospitality of the hotel owners. As we are very careful about the food we eat, we could not simply eat outside. We bought our own cooking ingredients and asked if we could store them in the hotel’s refrigerator. The owners were very understanding and allowed us to use their fridge throughout our stay. Whenever we needed our food items, we could easily take them out and put them back again. We also asked if we could use their washing machine, and they happily accommodated our request. Having these important facilities available made us feel very comfortable, and because of that, we extended our stay by almost five more days. On our first day, we faced difficulty finding public transportation. We ended up walking nearly 3 km away from the hotel and still could not find any transport to return. After informing the owner, she immediately offered to pick us up. We were deeply touched by her kindness and willingness to drive such a long distance just to help us get back safely. As we wanted to explore the surrounding attractions, we also asked the owner if she could help us find a motorcycle for rent. She managed to arrange one for us. We originally planned to rent it for only one day, but because everything was so convenient and comfortable, we extended the rental to three days. When it was time to return to Chengdu, we needed help arranging transportation. Once again, the owner went above and beyond. She woke up early in the morning and, at 6:00 AM, personally sent us to the main road so we could catch our transport. This hotel is run by a wonderful family. Throughout our stay, they treated us not as strangers, but as part of their family. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine care made us feel completely at home. We truly hope to return again in the future. I promise that I will bring many more travellers and hikers from my country to stay here and experience the same amazing hospitality. Excellent. The room was clean, and the service was good. Oxygen was available 24 hours a day and could be diffused. The location was very convenient, just a two-minute walk to Tagong Monastery! There were various shops and restaurants nearby. The facilities were new, and the shower even had an overhead shower (although you can't shower for the first few days after arriving at high altitude).

This trip was a last-minute decision with friends. We chose this hotel because of its excellent location right in the city center, surrounded by plenty of food options. At night, we could enjoy the stunning view of the Zhedo River and the square where people were doing Guozhuang dance from our room's window. Although the room's decor wasn't brand new, it was impeccably clean, which didn't detract from our experience at all. However, it gets really cold in Kangding during winter! It even snowed on the night we arrived. So, for anyone planning to visit, definitely remember to pack warm clothes.

Yema Haizi is the first choice for accommodation. It is very suitable for self-driving. It only takes 20-30 minutes to get there by car. The location is very convenient. The hotel environment is comfortable and elegant. There are electric blankets, so you don't have to worry about the cold. The hotel owner was very enthusiastic ❤️We felt the rare warmth Solve all our problems in time! The private soup is also very good! Highly recommend everyone to come and experience it! ! ! ! ! !

The academy has complete facilities. There is a bookstore and cafe in the hotel with a good atmosphere. You can drink tea, coffee and read books. The staff provide good service. The breakfast is also ******* style. You can also try on ******* clothes and take photos. It is really worth recommending.

We happen to visit Dartsedo (or commonly know as Kanding) in October, at the time of a big national holiday. So, the town was full of visitors from the mainland. Our original hotel has rejected our booking and this hostel was one of the very few options left. We booked 3 rooms in total. There are lots of good things that could be said about this hostel. The owner and the staff ladies were very nice and super helpful. They had accepted to wash our bag of travel clothes in the facilities free of charge, which was very kind. The rooms were what could be expected from this type of accommodation and for booking last minute. All was much nicely arranged that what we have expected for a hostel and the bedding were very clean .The common areas where also kept clean at all time. The shower area are on the small side, but all had hot water, towels, overall not great as maintenance but clean and functional. Our room was probably the only one that was facing a brick wall not a street, but we were OK with it. Anyone visiting this area from the West, should be ready to use squat toilets, which are common in this part of the world. Our room was probably the only one equipped with it. The bed had some kind of board instead of a mattress, but still was comfortable to sleep. The location was great. Obviously if you are a Westerner, you shouldn't expect a peaceful place , but this hostel is on the main street leading to the ”Love square”, with many nice places to eat and buy what you need. And the walk up to the central town is short and pleasant. The only recommendation we can make is to put some mosquitos repellent, Our room was for some reason had the most and that made it difficult to sleep.. On the downside, but we know it's a common problem for the town- there is no parking for the hostel and in general very difficult to find a parking place in this town. And the hostel is on the 3rd floor, so you should be prepared to take your luggage on the stairs.

Such a good place in the heart of Tagong! Very clean and the owner is an amazing person! I booked a double room but he offered me a free upgrade to a bigger room. He also helped me book a bus and came all the way with me to the bus station to make sure I board the right bus. I really recommend this place!
