"The room was a bit small, but it offered good value for money. The breakfast was generous, and the service was excellent. Our first room was street-facing, which made it quite noisy and difficult to sleep. However, after we mentioned it to the front desk, they proactively moved us to a new room."

"Short trip for me. Just 2 nights as I was there for the Adele concert.
Quite close to the UBahn around 5-7 minutes walk.

The hotel itself was very clean. The service was astounding as the staff were polite. I couldn’t get my coffee through the vending machine and the staff got me a cappuccino from their office and said it was free.
We wanted to store some alcohol in the fridge for the evening after the concert and they showed us to a fridge where they allowed guests to store their alcohol for other use.
Any favour you ask of them they will try to fulfill 🙂
The room is small and difficult to move around if you have a 28 inch suitcase like myself however it was very clean both the towels and bed linen. The lobby also is amazing place to hangout in the evening if you get your own pizza and beer.
Nothing else close by so you may need to travel a bit"

"Very beautiful hotel, one could call it upscale the least - better than many other 5 star hotels I stayed at, while officially it is actually not classified with 5 stars. Most staff was extremely friendly and professional. It smells nice, feels fancy, floor heating, rain shower, sound isolation, all the little nice things.
It is just missing a sauna, only issue I could point out."

"This is primarily a business hotel. The facilities are quite new and well-maintained. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. Its location is also excellent; turn right out of the hotel, and you'll find the train station and Hake Bridge. Supermarkets and McDonald's are all conveniently close by. We stayed for two days with our child during our trip. The only minor drawback was that housekeeping was not very timely with replenishing supplies. On the first day, the used towels we left aside were not replaced with fresh ones promptly."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the train station, bus station, tram, and subway. You can also walk to many places in the Old Town and the New Town Hall Square without taking the tram. Enjoy exploring on foot.
The area is a bit mixed, but there are many other branded hotels nearby, and everyone has to deal with the same diverse environment. There are plenty of eateries, including many Middle Eastern restaurants, creating a rich exotic atmosphere.
The hotel also provides stemmed wine glasses for guests to enjoy their purchased drinks.

Let’s start with the positives: the location is excellent. Right opposite the train and metro station, Lidl & Rewe supermarkets nearby, and just a straight 15‑minute walk into the old town. Super convenient.
But unfortunately, that’s about it. Service was really flat — communication with reception was very standard, nothing warm or welcoming. The room itself was on the small side (clean, yes, but definitely not spacious).
The real disappointment: water policy. The hotel only provides ONE small bottle of water per day per room. That’s for two people. On my first day, I asked reception for an extra bottle — they told me to go to the bar. Fine, I got one there. On the second day, since we skipped housekeeping, there was no water refill, so at night I went to the bar again to ask for another bottle. This time the staff told me I had to pay.
I was completely shocked. A 4‑star hotel charging €200 per night… and they won’t even provide guests with a simple bottle of still water? I’ve stayed in so many hotels across Europe and this is the first time I’ve encountered something like this. Even more absurd, the hotel leaves free apples at reception and offers unlimited water at breakfast — but refuses to give guests a bottle of water to take to the room? Ridiculous.
This policy really ruined what could have been a good stay. For a “collection” hotel brand, I expected much more in terms of service and hospitality. Sadly, I would not recommend this hotel.

MM239917****The room was nice, clean and tidy, the heating was very hot, the decoration was artistic, and the front desk service was enthusiastic. Because it was New Year's Eve, I could only book a room for one day and had to change hotels, which was a bit troublesome, but the hotel stored the luggage. There is no elevator in the annex building. I am on the second floor, next to the breakfast room, and light sleepers will be disturbed, but it can be avoided.

one thing to note if you drive though - free street parking is really based on luck, and the streets were mostly full during our 5 nights there. prepare to top up €15 per night parking if you don’t want to live with the uncertainty of having a parking space when you are on a holiday.
overall, we enjoyed our stay in this cool hotel.

However, the basic hygiene was perfectly acceptable, and the location was very convenient, right next to Central Station. Evening walks to Marientplaz took about 20 minutes.

MM342478****I stayed only for one night! I didn't stay long enough! The service was good! It was very comfortable! Clean and the breakfast was good😌. The attractions in Munich are relatively close! It's very close to the Charlie Post and nearby hotels! You can also go there for business trips. It's a few steps to the subway station, and it's also good to go to the University of Munich! You can eat the famous pork knuckles in a few steps!

The rooms are spacious, bed is large, the bathroom is lux with marble floors.
it is also in a great location. It is close to the train station and has a Lidl behind it.
The barman Jan is friendly and helpful.
And the not so good -
The rooms do not have a fridge, a microwave and not even a kettle!
When I enquired about the tea and coffee facilities, I was curtly told if I wanted coffee I could buy it downstairs.
It is difficult to understand how a hotel can justify a 4 star rating if it doesn't have anything more than a bed and a bathroom.
And then there is the room temperature. It's a furnace in the room I think the temperature was set to 29 degrees C!!
And the room temperature can't be changed in room. Only the reception can.
Even if they change it, it resets the next day.
I'm not sure why this hotel needs a sauna... Just stay in the room.
As has been noted in another review on Tripadvisor, this issue is ongoing. He noted it in 2017 and again in 2019 but nothing has changed.
Secondly is the staff attitude. They aren't rude but not friendly either. Likely they are worn down by the same issues getting raised while they are powerless to change it themselves.
Unsurprisingly, I was not offered a late check out.
The main advantage of location is lost by all the disadvantages.
If that's why you want to stay here, don't let the photo's trick you, book another better hotel nearby.

\\O_O/Given the comments I read from other travellers, the hotel actually has far exceeded my expectation. First of all, there is a U-bahn station right next to the hotel, which takes you only 2 minutes to the central station. The room is spacious, clean and air-conditioned, which is rather rare among other hotels in Germany. It also comes with a large window, which makes the entire room bright and cosy. The front-desk service is 24 hours. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
