"Found this bargain hotel deal via Trip and knowing the area, decided was a perfect location for us for a 1 night stay. Its next to the station and away from the noise and craziness of Brighton city centre. They upgraded us to a better room on floor 5 so had great views over the railway viaduct to the North. Comfortable bed, clean, great blackout curtains and (for Brighton), good parking directly opposite the hotel as part of the Station complex. Didn't use the restaurant or bar during our stay but we'd definitely stay here again."

"Last minute visit to Brighton & needed an overnight stay. The Holiday Inn is ideal as it is in a great location overlooking the beach and walking distance to shops & restaurants. There is parking available under the hotel which is also a must as parking is scarce in Brighton. Staff are friendly & helpful. My room was clean & my bed was very comfortable. On this occasion I didn't have breakfast but it was available at an extra cost of £14. An ideal place for my overnight stay. Would recommend."

"I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was clean, although tired looking from the outside. The rooms are clean, with tea making facilities and a hairdryer. There is shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, hand soap, as well as a toothbrush and the smallest tube of tooth paste - enough for 2 times. The staff are friendly but the reception area looks tired and busy. The continental breakfast, in my opinion, is not worth paying for. The breakfast area is the only communal area as the restaurant is closed at the moment.. The location was great and it is easy to get around from here."

"I often choose Leonardo hotels for holidays as it's a good chain I can trust. We loved the location here. The pool is good, although weirdly too deep (1.7m) for such a small pool that many families visit. Gym.on site was probably the most decent I've seen in a hotel. Didn't eat or drink at the hotel, so cannot comment on that, but there are so many restaurants in the Lanes, you will be spoilt for choice. We've upgraded room to family with 2 King beds and it was lovely! I would definitely come back."

"The front desk service was excellent. I was traveling with elderly people, and they proactively helped us carry our luggage to the room. Our original check-out time was 11 AM, but they extended it to 12 PM, understanding we had elderly family with us. Breakfast was decent. The only regret was how noisy the room was at night. The sea view during the day was beautiful, but on Saturday night, the constant car noise continued until 2 AM, which was very disruptive. My mom didn't get a good night's sleep. 😓"

"We had a wonderful stay here for my 30th birthday. We had the double room which was the perfect size for a couple. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom and shower were excellent. I loved the free pantry for snacks too! We didn't eat at the hotel but we did sit in the hotel bar and the cocktails and bar staff were great."

"The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a short stay. The bed was especially cozy, and the space was well-organized. Although the room wasn’t very large, it felt practical and suitable for a solo traveler or a couple. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always ready to assist with any questions. Check-in and check-out were quick and smooth. Bed is quite small for twin bed. Overall, it was perfect"

Great location, friendly staff, although my room was small it was well equipped with everything I needed. The room was really cozy, quiet and well ventilated. Location is perfect right in the center of Brighton with shops, bars, restaurants and a short distance to the beach. The train station is quite close as all. Only important thing to mention is that there's a deposit of 100£ which i did not know about and wasn't prepared.

Great location near the station. Complimentary breakfast is mediocre. Coffee station can have a long line as they have only one machine. Bedroom is clean with comfortable bed/pillows. The shower in the accessibility bathroom can reach all the way to the toilet and to some extent close to the sink and it doesn't drain/dry quick enough. If you need to do laundry, there is a free self serve with 3 sets of washer/dryer.

A lovely modern hotel with a nice gym and food. I ate at the restaurant all three nights of my stay due to poor weather - but very tasty food! Beach and i360 and places are close walk and so is the train station ! My issue is with cleanliness… my room felt dusty - I could feel it n also see it - from dust bunnies creeping from under my bed to the bedside tables having crumbs in corners, I wiped the table under the TV/next to the mirror as I wished to put my skincare etc… there and the tissue was dirty! It’s clear that a male or someone with a beard cleaned my room as 2/3 days I had stubble/hair on my sink. Also, the shower had not been cleaned on the tiles as there was black gunk/mould coming off the grout when I simply pointed the shower head towards it. Rooms are also not sound proof as I could hear my neighbors go to the bathroom, wind noises and two days in I had to tell reception to ask my neighbour to not blast the TV at 7am! Despite that, staff are very friendly! I would order food just before 9.30pm n they wouldn’t mind - in the restaurant. I was also able to shorten my stay by one night due to not needing an extra day without issue - just reservations team needs to accept it once you do through Trip. Water bottles are provided - my last morning there was a full water outage in the morning… luckily I used my head and asked for extra bottles to allow me to get ready at least! Alternatively showers at Hilton Leisure Centre were possible for us to use until it was sorted.

It was a decent stay and at off peak for £80 on a Saturday it’s not too bad. It’s a nice area of town and near to everything whilst still being quiet. The key code system as helpful asyou could come and go at any time and no check in process was needed. The room was a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small and tight. The room gad basic creature comforts like soap, small shower gel/shampoo pots and hot drinks facilities. The overall cleanliness was fine but the extractor fan in the bathroom was very dusty and the shower could’ve been cleaner with some hairs in it. The bed and key hygiene elements were clean though. The floors were quite thin so you could hear neighbours at times and the room could’ve done with a blackout blind really. If it was cheap to stay again I’d consider here, but I wouldn’t pay more than I did given the overall experience as some basics were overlooked as mentioned. Hopefully the feedback is constructive.

Positives - on the beach front with lovely views, just a short walk to all the tourist attractions. Very nice English breakfast. Staff were polite and efficient. Lobby areas neat and tidy. Good lunch food. Negatives. Upstairs hallways and bedrooms are in very poor condition. Peeling wallpaper, dirty sofas, threadbare carpets, scratched paintwork and faded curtains. Private Parking advertised but still costs £25 a night. Limited amenities.

The location is excellent, right across from the beach, and the housekeeping staff are incredibly enthusiastic. They were always helpful whenever I needed anything. The only downside is that the price is a bit higher than hotels in the city center. Although there's a bar downstairs, I stayed on the fourth floor and barely heard any noise. They even provided earplugs for guests, which was a nice touch. The bathroom is a bit small, but the bed and comforter were very comfortable. I forgot to take pictures of the room itself, but it looks exactly like the photos on the website. I only managed to snap a few shots of the hotel's exterior.

High hopes but this feel quite short in a number of ways. From the photos the room looked lovely and this did match up. However it did become apparent that aesthetics have been prioritised over other aspects. The pub/club opposite was still incredibly noisy at 2am (on a Tuesday) with the windows doing nothing to muffle the noise. There was fast food rubbish found next to one of the beds from a previous occupant, and this was quite a large wrapper that would have been difficult to miss during cleaning. Communication around bed preference was not good at all, I had specifically asked for a king (and have the evidence of this in my booking details) yet on arrival twin beds were set up. When I raised this with the company, there was no offer of rectifying this, instead I was told more than once that this had been the request. To add insult to injury, our neighbours in the room next door invited some friends to their room and it seemed they were having their own party at 3am with shouting, giggling and loud music and more than 5 in the one room. We knocked on the door in the end to request some quiet as, with the club outside, we were completely surrounded by noise. One small plus point that, once we managed to get to sleep, the bed (albeit the twin I hadn’t requested) was very comfortable.

The location is perfect, you can’t ask for more. The cleaness level can be improved, and I found the laundry is empty. My room is quite hot during the heat, hotter than the normal room. I guess one reason is there is only one window can be opened and just a little bit. But the other day the window was opened a little bit more, and it feel cooler. There is no privacy for my bed (Room302). I think they placed the whole bed in a wrong way, anyone who enters the room can see me directly and there is no curtain. I used a towel to cover at the end. Hope staffs can fix this. All the staffs are welcomed and friendly. One more, it could be a bit noisy for some rooms cuz they’re facing the street.

The room was not large, but it felt modern and clean, just like the picture! The location was good, but it was disappointing for a place where 4 people went and paid 80,000 won per person. There was no elevator and the bathroom was shared... ㅠ But I think that date was a bit expensive. I looked up other dates and it was just a little cheaper. I would have been 99% satisfied! The bathroom was clean, but there was no shampoo. They gave us one towel each.

The self check in was a bit difficult at first as some of the codes didn't work but if you press the ring door bell then you get an answer and they are very helpful, the room was beautiful and the shower was lush! The fact there was a fridge was an amazing bonus cause it meant we could keep our leftovers from the restaurants fresh and keep our beers cold 😂 would highly recommend as its a 14 minute walk from the train station (literally walk in a straight line and you're there) and it's on the seafront with everything you could want or need within a 5 minute walk, will definitely be back
