My stay at El Nido Resorts Lagen Island was nothing short of extraordinary. The staff's warmth and genuine hospitality were exceptional; they always wore smiles and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. From assisting with ferry bookings to surprising me on my birthday with a beautifully decorated bed and a delightful cake, their thoughtfulness was truly heartwarming. Special thanks to Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John, and Arvin for their outstanding support. The resort's happy vibe upon arrival sets the tone, and you leave with a smile, longing for more. The complimentary tours, seamlessly integrated into the package, were made exceptional by the supportive guides, creating a private and well-timed experience. Opting for the overwater bungalow was a unique and enchanting experience, adding to the paradise that is El Nido Lagen Island. The buffet-style meals offered three times a day were a culinary delight. I wholeheartedly recommend El Nido Resorts Lagen Island for an unforgettable and highly recommended getaway. Very friendly staff, committed to give the best service to their guests. We intentionally booked Nacpan as a location (instead of El Nido center) to have a more relaxed atmosphere. Totally happy to stay at Nacpan Beach Villa as one resort of equal review a step further north had blaring music the whole day. The facilities are clean and modern, the amenities good, the equipment easy to handle. The beach is clean(!), no garbage, no plastic(!) - please keep it that way. Really incomparably clean, meaning: even if you dig with your feet in the seabed, no junk comes up (Nusa Dua - best beach in Bali - did not pass this test).

Piece Lio was a perfect choice!!! Amazing area, exceptional service and the room was better than we expected. We were very pleasantly surprised. Before choosing this hotel I read some reviews about not the best food options. I am not sure if they changed something but for food options we were offered only continental or English breakfast that was cooked for us fresh and was very good. Too much food if you ask me. We never finished it all. The beach is literally 2 minutes walk and there are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the beach. We had the best time there!

This place is truly a little corner of paradise. It’s almost impossible to put into words how much we enjoyed our stay and how special this place is. The owners — an Englishman and a Filipina — are the perfect mix of warmth, hospitality, and attention to detail. They genuinely go the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and are happy to accommodate almost any request, always in such a natural and unobtrusive way. The rooms are comfortable, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The air conditioning is quiet, the mattresses and pillows are incredibly comfortable, and everything you might need is provided — right down to shower gel and a toothbrush. The hotel is still relatively new and everything is in excellent condition. There are free SUP boards for guests, and you can also rent a scooter from the hotel if you feel like exploring El Nido for the day. And then there’s the food… that deserves a review of its own! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, and the cocktails were fantastic. You can order fresh seafood, or even buy it yourself and have the team prepare it for you. My husband loves grilling, so we arranged to get some meat and had our own little BBQ evening. One of the staff members was genuinely excited to help and learn how it’s done — such a small moment, but incredibly warm and touching. My husband also wanted to go fishing, and the local fishermen were happy to take him along. Unfortunately, we simply didn’t have enough time during our stay, but knowing that such experiences were so easily arranged made the place feel even more special. That’s the beauty of a small boutique hotel like this. Unlike huge resorts, they can actually respond to the individual wishes of their guests and make you feel personally cared for. At the same time, there is absolutely no pressure to socialize. Everything is beautifully balanced: if you want to chat, there’s always someone happy to talk to; if you want privacy, you’ll have complete peace and seclusion. It truly feels like your own little paradise. If we ever return to El Nido, we will absolutely stay here again. Thank you to the wonderful owners and the whole team for such a memorable stay. We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were very kind, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.The free breakfast was delicious with plenty of fresh options to start the day. We also loved having free access to all the hotel facilities, which made our stay even more relaxing and fun.Everything exceeded our expectations. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our family and friends!

The stay was super good, the location was PERFECT, and the staff was lovely. I must highlight that the breakfast buffet was incredible.

I really enjoyed my stay at Zuri Resort. The service and facilities were excellent, and everything was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The swimming pool also offered a lovely view, and the Jacuzzi was a great place to relax. The breakfast was delicious, but I would recommend going early. We arrived at around 7:00 a.m., and some of the food was already unavailable. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay!

7/10 – Beautiful, modern villa, but disappointing service and a few practical issues We stayed for three nights in Villa 3, the ground-floor villa with a private pool. Our first impression was excellent. Everything was modern, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The villa smelled lovely, the minibar was well stocked, and even small details, like the outdoor shower for rinsing sand off your feet, were appreciated. The private terrace with its pool and outdoor kitchen was lovely, but there were several drawbacks. First, the insects. There were A LOT of biting insects in the outdoor area, not just mosquitoes. Despite using repellents, the provided citronella spray, and the ceiling fan, we still got badly bitten. It would be helpful if the property could recommend or provide something more effective against the local insects. The pool was also quite cold, as the terrace receives very little direct sunlight. We even had a cute little frog living in the pool filter! We informed the staff, but nothing was done. Personally, we found him adorable, so if you're staying in Villa 3 and he's still there, please say hello from us! The outdoor kitchen includes a BBQ area, but charcoal isn't provided. We were told to buy it ourselves, yet couldn't find any at the recommended supermarket. Having a BBQ area that guests can't easily use seems a little impractical. Housekeeping was another issue. We didn't need full cleaning, just fresh towels and drinking water. The water was replenished and bath towels were changed, but our requests to replace the pool towels were ignored twice. However, the most disappointing experience involved a dog living near the villas. She was a very sweet, partially blind mother dog whose puppies occasionally came around. I fed her throughout our stay and became quite attached to her. Before leaving, I gave the staff some food and a small tip, asking them to feed her and send me a photo. They agreed. Unfortunately, over the following days, I received excuses about rain and the dog being absent, despite her having been around almost constantly during our stay. Eventually, I received a photo showing only the dog's backside, with no indication that she had actually been fed. I cannot say whether they fulfilled my request, but the way it was handled was genuinely disappointing. It was a small, personal request that they had voluntarily agreed to, and I expected better communication and follow-through. It left me questioning how genuine the hospitality was once we'd checked out. On the positive side, the staff were friendly in person and helped us arrange a motorbike rental. Laundry service was also convenient. There are a few restaurants along the nearby beach for breakfast and dinner, with more options in town. However, the beach itself isn't really suitable for swimming – it's shallow, rocky, and covered in seaweed. You'll need to travel to other beaches or use the villa's pool. Overall, 7/10. The villa itself is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, but the insect problem, overlooked requests, and especially the disappointing experience after checkout affected our impression. With more thoughtful attention to guests' needs and better follow-through on promises, this could be a much better experience.

I was honestly a bit disappointed with this resort. When you see the word “resort” and pay resort prices, you expect a certain standard. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to that. The bed only had a thin sheet with no proper bedding, there was no water provided in the room, and parts of the property felt quite run down with visible rust. The bathroom, especially the shower area, could really use a deep clean. Breakfast was okay, nothing special. There were four different WiFi networks, but none of them worked properly and the connection was very slow. The staff did warn me about this in advance. That being said, the staff were absolutely amazing. Reception went above and beyond by helping with my large bags, doing my laundry, organizing tours and transport, and assisting with everything I needed. Truly a chef’s kiss to the team. They were the highlight of my stay. With some upgrades and better maintenance, this place could match the price they’re charging. Right now, it’s the staff that make the experience worthwhile.

We traveled as a family of four and booked two rooms—one twin-sharing and one queen double. Both rooms were in good condition, clean, and comfortable. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping is available upon request, which was convenient. Before our trip, I was a bit hesitant after reading some negative reviews mentioning repetitive breakfast options and the absence of hairdryers. However, it seems the hotel has addressed these concerns. Each room now comes with a brand-new hairdryer (ours was still in the box), and we were pleasantly surprised that the breakfast offerings were varied and different each day. The hotel’s location in Coron town is another big plus, making it easy to walk to nearby restaurants. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again if we return to Coron.
