"The hotel has a good environment, and there's a 7/11 nearby. The front desk staff can communicate in English, and there's an open-air swimming pool on the top floor. The room has a refrigerator and microwave, which is very convenient. The air conditioning is also very strong. The only downside is that the smoking area is quite far, with only one in area A. However, there's no phone in the room, and the cleaning staff barely speak English. When we first checked in, the sheets had bloodstains. We had to go downstairs to the front desk to inform them, which was a bit inconvenient, but they replaced the sheets for us promptly."

"The soundproofing in the hotel is non-existent; the walls are paper-thin. The bed frame is tiled and has very sharp corners, so you need to be extremely careful. I didn't enjoy my stay because of these issues. The pool is conveniently located in the shade of a tree, offering a nice escape from the sun. However, there are no sun loungers, only chairs. Breakfast is meager, just enough to fill you up. The parking lot is large, making it easy to park your car. Rawai Beach is quite a long walk, so having transport is preferable."

"The room was very spacious, and there’s a 7-Eleven right across the road which was super convenient. The location is also really good — we walked everywhere during our trip and it was very easy to get around. The only thing that made us a little uncomfortable was that there was a connecting door inside the room leading to the room next door. At first it felt a bit worrying, and unfortunately the guests next door checked in around 2am and were drinking, talking, and laughing loudly, so it was quite hard for us to sleep. The soundproofing could definitely be improved. Other than that, everything else was really good👌 We requested a birthday decoration for my boyfriend and it turned out so cute 🥹 The towel cake decoration was adorable hahaha. "The hotel is beautiful. Our sea-view room offered fantastic views of the beach and the sunset, which we loved! The kids really enjoyed it too. The staff were quite friendly. However, there were small ants coming out of the bathroom sink, so I'd suggest the hotel implement regular pest control. Another area for improvement is the food; most of the options seem geared towards Western palates. With so many Chinese tourists visiting now, it would be great to see some Chinese breakfast options like wontons or beef noodles added to the menu."

"We stayed at the Phuket Orchid Resort & Spa and were very satisfied. It's not a luxurious or extravagant hotel, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We really liked the large, well-maintained grounds, two spacious swimming pools, and its own mini water park with two big slides. This is a fantastic bonus for a hotel, especially if you're traveling with kids or just love pools. The room was always clean, and housekeeping was done daily and thoroughly. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. Everything was simple but decent and convenient. The location deserves a special mention. Karon Beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and there are plenty of shops, cafes, and everything else you need for your vacation nearby. Early check-in was a pleasant surprise. We were able to check in around 1:00 PM, even though the official check-in time was 3:00 PM. Thanks to the staff for this flexibility. Breakfasts were good: there was enough variety, so you definitely won't go hungry. No extraordinary culinary experiences, but everything was tasty and perfectly decent. The only minor point is that the hotel is very popular and gets quite crowded. During breakfast, it can be quite noisy and busy. Most of the guests are Russian-speaking tourists, so sometimes it feels like a large family resort. Overall, our impressions were very positive. It offers good value for money, comfortable grounds, excellent pools, and a convenient location."

"Location of hotel is great. Walking distance to many places such as Jung Ceylon, Bangladesh Street and the beach. Love e service staff too who had suggestions on the food and also allowed me quickly to change room due to bug issues. Also love the amenities - swimming pool at rooftop with a bar, allows me to enjoy the sun but away from the crowd. It also has bathtub, for me to soak 😃 However, suggest the hotel should go thru a face-lift, some parts look rundown. Overall, price paid is worth the stay... would go back to this hotel when I m back in Phuket."

"Before checking in, I saw a lot of negative reviews, but after staying, I have to give it a full five-star rating and highly recommend it. Let me start with the downsides: there are basically no amenities within walking distance, so you have to take a taxi to go anywhere. Taxis in Phuket are really expensive; the hotel is 3 kilometers from Patong center, and a tuk-tuk costs 100 RMB. Now for the good points: first, the service absolutely deserves praise. We arrived at the hotel around 1 PM to check in, but the room wasn't ready until 2 PM. The hotel immediately offered each of us a complimentary drink from the restaurant as compensation. We actually checked in around 2:30 PM. After checking out, we left a small piece of luggage at the hotel. After contacting the front desk, they quickly located it for us, and they were very cooperative when we arranged for a Grab runner to pick it up. During our stay, the hotel did have a scheduled shuttle service (though not many runs) for 100 THB per person. I didn't pay close attention and thought it was going to Patong. After about 10 minutes on the road, I realized we were going in the wrong direction. When I asked the driver, I found out it was going to Kamala. The driver turned around and took us back to the hotel, and the hotel immediately refunded the fare. We booked two ocean-view king suites. The rooms were very spacious. When we booked, we specified two adults and one child for each room, and the hotel had already set up the extra beds without any additional charge. The balcony has a jacuzzi, which was well-maintained, fully functional, and very clean. The hotel has a private rocky beach. We snorkeled twice, and there were many fish, but the hotel doesn't provide life jackets, probably to discourage snorkeling due to safety risks. The breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, but it wasn't crowded, so it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is connected to the popular 'The Reef' restaurant, which is very photogenic."

"The hotel is advertised as having a gourmet restaurant, but in my opinion the food did not quite meet gourmet standards. That said, we booked a sea-facing unit and the view was absolutely magnificent — very peaceful and calming. Kamala Beach in general is a quieter area, which we really appreciated. There is a shuttle service provided, but the timing is quite limited. Given the price guests pay for this hotel, it would be better to have more frequent shuttle services instead of fixed timings. That said, it only takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel to the main street where there are many shops and restaurants, so it is still manageable. One issue we faced was that there was no clear sign or button in the room to indicate housekeeping service, and as a result, we ended up not having housekeeping during our stay. The phone line in the room also needs attention, as there was noticeable disturbance noise when calling reception. Overall, it is a nice place to stay with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere, but there are some service and maintenance areas that management could improve further."
