"Road Lodge Isando is a great spot for solo travelers or couples. The rooms are small but super clean — bedding is fresh and it even has a heater inside which was a big plus. Breakfast is included too. The front desk staff are amazing. They really go the extra mile to help you with anything you need. It’s only about 5-10 minutes from the airport by car. The lodge doesn’t have its own shuttle, but they helped me arrange one for R150. Super easy, no stress. Overall, clean, cozy, helpful staff, and convenient location. Would definitely recommend!"

"I recently stayed at this hotel and while it’s not a five-star property, the experience was genuinely pleasant overall. The biggest highlight was definitely the staff, they were incredibly friendly, warm, and enthusiastic. From check-in to check-out, they made us feel welcome and valued, which truly makes a difference. They also recommended a restaurant nearby, and it turned out to be an excellent suggestion. The food was delicious and the service there was outstanding as well. The rooms are well-equipped with practical amenities, including a microwave, stove, washing machine, and even two bedrooms in one unit, which makes it very convenient for families or longer stays. That said, there is room for improvement when it comes to hygiene and overall maintenance. There was a slight musky smell in parts of the hotel, and the cleaning standards could be improved. Despite this, we genuinely enjoyed our stay, mainly because the staff’s kindness and professionalism really stood out. With some attention to maintenance and cleanliness, this hotel has the potential to be even better."
