"Not a great experience! It would seem as though there is mold on the mattress! Floors are filthy, walls in the bedroom are damaged, toilet seat cracked, the air condition unit is directly above your head (and noisy). If you are staying here when the Exon Mobil personnel are here, the breakfast is good, otherwise you get a black box breakfast as shown in the photo. NO other choices. The sheets are never replaced - regardless of the length of your stay. Most hotels will replace after 3 days. Air freshener is sprayed on the bed to mask the foul smell from the previous guest. Blown bulbs are replaced after 2 days! Not worth $20,000 per night."

"This Courtyard opened in August 2025 so it’s still very new and they told me I was only the second guest with Bonvoy Ambassador Elite status who stayed there. We were treated quite well, at times. For example we arrived late but they extended the last order of room service from 10pm to 10:30pm to accommodate us which was great, they sent me the menu in advance of our arrival when chatting in the Bonvoy app, the driver for shuttle bus came promptly to pick us up and our food order arrived shortly after we settled in the room so we did not waste time. We were upgraded to a fairly spacious suite which looked good, minus perhaps the shower in bathtub which surprised me a bit for such a new hotel. At the Courtyard hotel brand, we normally should receive a Food & Beverage credit, but instead they gave us free breakfast which was a positive surprise. Also, they have a nice looking menu, however they said for us it was limited to the american breakfast and refused that we pick alternatives at same price or cheaper. It’s hard to complain about a free perk but this was a strange policy, which could easily be revised or improved; in my humble opinion they should. Perhaps they refused because they ran out of ingredients? The reason I make this hypothesis is because for the omelet we asked all veggies but they only had onions. For dinner on our second night we wanted two orders of stir fried noodles but they said they ran out, then later they said they found one portion left. Anyway for this sort of destination I cannot complain considering the lack of alternatives for hotel chains and I would return to this hotel without hesitation despite the small issues that remain to be worked out."

"Booked 2, 3 and 4 bedrooms for a large family trip. 2 and 3 bedrooms are good but 4 bedroom suite is old, broken toilet, lots of cockroaches. Had to move ans cram the family from that 4 bedroom suite to our 3 bedroom suite because it was so disguisting. Terrance- Management did not do anything about ut when we complained. Request the newer suites. No pictures are shown of the 4 bedroom online due to the condition we were fooled. Becareful with management, Terrance is forgetful and cannot manage the business bookings properly. We booked 8 months in advance and paid in full. Spoke to him 2 weeks prior to confirm bookings no issues but the day before received a call asking if we had a booking! Upon arrival the family was split between 2 locations. Split my elderly mother in the Goodhope location away from the family. L Positives? Some 2 and 3 bedrooms are good just bring your own toilet paper. Hide valuables, no safes and management enters your apartments when you are not there to take off lights and AC. Management is rude and unprofessional. Will never be back again!"
